The worst thing about my school is the fact that everything is unorganized. This is frustrating because it makes it difficult to get answers and to be successful.
Because the school is a small community, when a student acts poorly or inappropriately, the act reflects the entire student body.
The worst thing about Central State University is there are not many fun things to do on campus. This school is very big on parties so if one is not a party person they may find themselves alone and bored on the weekends. The campus is also very small and not diverse, this limits the number of people you would meet at a much bigger college.
The worst thing about our school is a toss-up between financial aid and the questionable food service. One visit to financial aid can send you bouncing office to office for the rest of the day. Sometimes subtle but damaging changes are made, and we are scolded for not knowing about them. We are told to check our MyCSU student profiles, but i have found many times over that vital information was not posted. A few of the counselors are understanding, and helpful, but sometimes i still feel like a child. A stupid one.
I would say it seems at times the staff does not want to be as helpful as they could be. I had a difficult time getting everything set up and ready for classes simply because I was always getting "forwarded" to someone else. I found this difficult and discouraging!
The worst thing I believe about my school was the admin. I feel like they were organized sometimes, but at the same time they will have you on a run around. It may not seem like it but overall, I feel that they to improve on the communication level in order for them not to have students all over the place.
Since this is my first year/freshman year at this university, I haven't had any negative or adverse experiences as of yet and I hope not to have any negative things to say about my university while attending.
I consider the worst thing is the way most of the people think to narrow. I think their minds are only shown certain things that make them to believe that life is one way when it is almost infinitely open to do anything. I think it has a lot to do with the entertainment of music and television.
I think that the science department doesn't get the adequate amount of money or support. Our football team has only won about 10 games in the past 3.5 years I've been there and they got new uniforms. I just wish that we had more financial support.
What's missing is there are not programs specific to older adults returning to school .
I like my school it is a description of an HBCU and how they are mostly black but also invite others in the same whay they would thier own.
The worst thing about my school is that the bookstore almost never has a lot of the required books on time for beginning new courses. They usually get them late.
THE ONLY THING IS THAT THE SCHOOL IS IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. IT;S A GAS STATION,POSTAL OFFICE, AND A BABER SHOP ACROSS FROM THE SCHOOL. AND ALSO ITS ALOT OF CORN FIELDS, AND ANIMALS AROUND.
