I am an international student from Vietnam. This year is my first year at Century college. In my opinion, Century college provides students with good infrastructure, effective studying programs and playground. I feel like home when studying here because teachers and staffs are very hospitable and welcoming.
Academically, Century College is a great place to start. Since Century College is a community college you can begin by taking your general education or liberal education requirements. It is relatively inexpensive, the class sizes are not overwhelming like at a larger university, and it is overall a good experience. Before continuing on to a university, you can kill two birds with one stone: take your liberal education requirements and even pursue one of the many degree offerings Century has.
I love Century College. The class sizes are small, and professors are available almost all the time. It is a small enough school that you wont get lost, but big enough not to feel cramped. The cost is also on the low side, so it's great for getting generals or aa's out of the way!
Century college is the best place ever! The star is super nice and helpful in organizing your schedule and helping with a future plan. teachers are super nice and also very good at giving prime examples. Century helps in various of ways that will make college easier to learn in your academic future.

"If I could turn back time"...isn't that just something everyone wishes? If I could go back in time and talk to myself, I would be able to show how hard it has been not going right to school after high school. I followed my boyfriend instead of attending the UW Madison where I was accepted. Then, went to a fast-paced dental assisting school that wasn't a degree program, but, passed with flying colors. From there, got married and had two kids, stayed with the guy for 18 years and just recently got divorced. If I could show myself then how important it was to go to school so I had something to fall back on in the future, I would. I am starting all over, going to school for the first time in almost 16 years towards nursing. I am thriving though, the first semester back, I got a 4.0, made the Dean's List and was full-time while also being a mom. It will be a difficult road, but, I am showing my girls that you can do anything, even if I didn't with my chance I had in the past.
My classmates at Century College appear to be very relaxed and confident in the courses they have chosen at Century.
The only thing that would be some what frustrating at Century would be parking. There are ways in which you can make this easier. You can make parking easier by taking public transportation, car pooling, or making sure you have adequate time to find a parking spot if you must drive alone. Also you can park on one campus and walk to the other if the parking lot is really busy at a certain time.
Having Prosthetics and Orthotics courses is unique. Other than this, there is unfortunately little to brag about.
Century College is a great school to start back into after being out of the loop for many years. The teachers are compassionate about me being a single mother and knew I was serious about my education. The college is also very diverse so I was excited to be able to interact with people of different races and beliefs. I love how the classes aren't too huge so we have a chance to be heard and not just seen.
Century College is a great option for students who want to complete their general courses in order to transfer out to a four year institution. Also, it is a great option for students looking to obtain an Associate's Degree, a certificate or a diploma in a certain specialty area. The college offers many courses and programs giving students plenty of options and flexibility.
Someone shouldn't attend this school if they aren't willing to put their best foot forward. Your success depends on your own determination to go further in your future. If you need to be at a school where you will be babysat, this is not the school for you. Also, if you are not into diversity, you will not have a great experience in this school.
Most of the teachers are helpful and treat their students with respect. Students will tell you which teachers to take for a certain course, and who to stay away from.
It's fun, but boring and hard.
The school is well known for thier nursing program and offers a lot of class with great instructors.
I wish I had known how helpful the staff are at Century. I attended High-Tech Institute previously and paid $18,000 for a course offered at Century for about $850. This time I have researched the school I'm attending better(Century) and spoken to a graduate from the nursing program who I was introduced to by a friend, not the school. The graduate had nothing but good things to say about Century. I learned to check the department of Educations website and the Better Business Bureau to get a non biased view of the school. I love Century.
There is no map of the campus layout on the website, so it is sometimes difficult to figure out where you need to go the first time. The good thing is that the campus is smaller and the staff are very helpful so once you are on campus you can find someone to give you directions.
