I wish I had known exactly how much everything would cost. I wish the professors knew exactly what books they would use so we could know exactly how much money we needed to have in order to attend. Again I say, I wish we knew exactly how much everything costs.
The one thing that I would have known before coming to this school was that only online classes are very hard. At my two year college I took a combination of both classroom and online classes not I'm just taking online. I stay home in the mornings with my two year old son and try to do homework.
That they try to weed out the undesirables, meaning those on Financial Aid.
One thing that I wish I had known before coming to school is more way to receive financial aid. Different scholarships or work study opportunities. Also, I wish that I had taken more time to check into the different financial aid opportunities. I wish I had looked into the Resident Advisor opportunity sooner, it not only helps with the financial burden, but it also allowed me to meet people that I may have never met.
I wish I would have known how hard it would be to get a reasonable amount of financial aid. If you work really hard all summer and before college it is still not possible to pay for college completely. I worked an average of 80 hours a week all summer and still didn't have the money.
