Chamberlain College of Nursing has truly caught my eye. This school has shown me that they will prioritize their students first. The thing I love the most about Chamberlain is not only the class sizes, but how they set you up. They set each and every student up to succeed in their future endeavors. I feel valued as a student, and I know I can count on my advisors, and teachers for the help that I need.
I love it!
Chamberlain is genuinely a great school. The class sizes are small and professors are easily accessible. Chamberlain has so many different learning tools between their online 24/7 library, to their student academic center where there are always tutors available to help. I have recommended many of my friends to this school if they are even considering nursing. Everyone wants you to succeed and it is just an overall wonderful environment!

The most important advice I would give my high school self about college is that grades are important, very important, but learning is much, more important than the ultimate letter grade received in a class. When I was in high school, my grade point average was extremely important because it led to scholarships for college; unfortunately, I worked so hard in high school and stressed so much over having perfect grades there and in college, I became ill and was forced to withdraw from school. After over a decade in the workforce, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to return to college, and this time I realize that the experience and the knowledge I will gain from college are much more important than my final grade point average. I have confidence in my intelligence, determination, and work ethic, so if I receive less than an A in a class, I will still have done my best, and as long as I learn the things I need to learn from the class, my best is good enough.
Chamberlain offers an accelerated RN/BSN program made up of eight-week sessions. This means that there is a lot of information thrown at students in a very short amount of time. The best type of student for this program is one who does not need to be spoon fed and is willing to put in a lot of hours outside class.
Chamberlain has amazing Sim labs which allow students to experience most aspects of nursing in as real an environment as possible. All of the nursing professors are nurses themselves, and their greatest desire is to make the students into the best nurses possible. Chamberlain nurses are very highly rated in area hospitals and often get accepted into highly competitive internships and other positions.
