Chamberlain College of Nursing has truly caught my eye. This school has shown me that they will prioritize their students first. The thing I love the most about Chamberlain is not only the class sizes, but how they set you up. They set each and every student up to succeed in their future endeavors. I feel valued as a student, and I know I can count on my advisors, and teachers for the help that I need.
I love it!
Chamberlain is genuinely a great school. The class sizes are small and professors are easily accessible. Chamberlain has so many different learning tools between their online 24/7 library, to their student academic center where there are always tutors available to help. I have recommended many of my friends to this school if they are even considering nursing. Everyone wants you to succeed and it is just an overall wonderful environment!
I love chamberlain. The students, teachers and faculty are very helpful and easy to reach. The class sizes are perfect for one on one teaching and they have a great study program that fits everyone's specific needs and it is available all the time. It is very easy to get intouch with professors anytime you need help of have a questions. I love the flexibility of their schedule for those of us who are working and going to a school.
Chamberlain is a school that sets you up for success. It is challenging but worth it. Every professor I have had so far has been more than willing to help when a concept is not fully understood and it's nice to go through a program with fellow students whose goals are the same because it is a specialized school.
Overall Chamberlain has a great reputation in the community and provides good clinical sites. Most of the teachers are knowledgeable, helpful and good at what they do. Sometimes the labs and required assignments can be tedious and a waste of time. The student services department is usually fairly quick at geting back to you when you ask a question. One of the biggest problems is there is no financial aide department, the student services department handles all of it which can lead to delays in processing financial disbursements. The information isn't always correct from student services, for example this session I was told my disbursement would be week 2 of the session and then I was told week three, it's already week 5 and I still haven't recieved my loan disbursement which has led to my account being overdrawn and a few hundred dollars in overdraft fees from my bills being paid with an overdrawn account.
I am extremely impressed with the professors and the faculty and the support they give each and every student. I like the class sizes are small, and the teachers and faculty WANT nothing more than you to succeed. I like that it's close to a bunch of restaurants and shopping so in breaks between classes you can stop and get food. But our campus food is actually quite tasty.
The could do better with Student amenities and on campus food and coffee choices. Also it would be nice for more student learning areas. Additionally there are some professors that are inhibiting student learning and the college could benefit from some new instructors.
