Chapman is not a typical "party school" because it is not huge and crazy. However, there are multiple parties every weekend and it is what most people do. However, not everyone drinks there. Sure, there will be alcohol and people who have drank too much of it. But if you don't drink, no one is going to care. You might be pressured by some drunk kid to play beer pong with you, but it is easy to play games, talk to people, and hang out if you don't have a drink in your hand.
honestly, it depends. I would say if you hang out with friends who know where the parties are, regardless if they or you drink, you won't have problems going to parties. Most of the time people won't pressure you to drink. They might offer you one but once you say no, they move on. I personally didn't go to many parties this year because I chose to focus on school, but I know people who don't drink, are responsible at parties, and still can maintain a decent GPA. It's all how you choose to live in college
It depends on the parties, obviously sometimes there will be parties where you may feel a little too grounded if everyone else is completely drunk, but others it is fun to laugh at people and interact with people. There are a lot of people who don't drink who go to parties.
