Seriously, when I first drove up to this school I thought it looked like the infamous castle from the Harry Potter novels. The campus is picturesque, full of trees and beautiful buildings. My profile picture is actually myself in front of St. Joe's our oldest and most historic building. We have a beautiful campus, and you will love it as soon as you set foot on it!
Our campus is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful places AT LEAST in Philadelphia. CHC borders the Wissahickon Park Trail, a public park that is the largest city park in the county. So, there are beautiful trees everywhere! Fall is my favorite time on campus, because all the leaves are changing and the scenery is breathtaking. The buildings, modeled after the French style, are almost medieval-looking...some people say that Chestnut Hill College looks like Hogwarts to the outside viewer. If you love nature and open air, but still want an opportunity to experience a big city, CHC is a great place for you! I like to think of CHC as a sanctuary, with the craziness of Philly surrounding it. You can tap into all the city has to offer, but at the end of the day you can come back to campus to relax and rejuvenate.
We tend to be described as Hogwarts. Our school was modelled after the buildings in France, so they have a very Gothic feel. I love the older atmosphere that the buildings bring to our campus. It gives me a sense of history and great architecture.
Very attentive to student's needs.
Very diverse and accepting of others.
My school is in a rural area surrounded by city life, full with different backgrounds of people that come together t o learn, with the help of intelligent professors and saff members.
CHC is a great school if you like music, art, or liberal arts and want a small amount of students per class.
Chestnut Hill College is a place of diversity, generosity, and the willingness to succeed and will do just about anything to see that those within the College succeed, when you leave with a degree from here you know you have accomplished a lot more than just hitting the books; you have also gained the knowledge of hands on experience in your field and have extensive knowledge in service to others just like the sisters who founded this College!
My school is filled with very friendly people.
a place where most enjoy the small community
A close-knit, old-fashioned school with a one track mind: academics.
Some things can go wrong but that happens everywhere. Nothing is perfect in this world so I take everything that happens with a grain of salt. I like my professors and the classes I take. The Sisters are wonderful women.
Chestnut Hill has small class sizes and accomodating teachers.
It feels like I never left high school, small nice community where everyone knows who you are.
It gets somewhat boring over the weekends and seeing the same faces everyday.
unique
An over night high school, because its small and most of the people who attend that school are just as childish.
