Love it! There are many programs that you can take. The college is also near some food places that you can go to when you are on your break. It is not that far from the college as well. The instructors are always available when you need to ask them a question about the assignments.
Very good school. The staff there is amazing and always willing to help. Its a great place to go to school if you have a busy life. Its affordable and the instructors are flexible with a lot of things. A wonderful place to begin your college adventures whether you're a typical student coming in from high school or a mom with a full time job.
I love this school! Because it's a technical college (not a university), the instructors have worked in the field prior to becoming teachers. My instructors are always available and class sizes are small. For not having on-campus housing, CVTC makes a huge effort to involve its students. There are lots of opportunities for students and the CVTC community is accepting of people from all walks of life.
Although I just started at CVTC, I can tell I choose the right school to attend. The teacher I currently have is the nicest teacher I have ever had. She makes sure to talk to all the students asking them everything from if they need help to how there grandpa is doing after his surgery. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and are always there when I need help. I enjoy coming to school here and look forward to finishing my degree.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Chippewa Valley Technical College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If i could go back in time and talk to myself, I would want to be the first person to help prepare myself for the stress to come. As far back as middle school, there were people telling me to be ready and think of what's ahead. I would have been better prepared if i knew what i was getting myself into. I recall being easily distracted and relying on my friends for support, but the future was so clouded with mystery at the time. If i were to talk to my past self, i would have told myself to get all the college forms and payments ready early, and not to fear the future to come. If i had atleast i step in the door, i would be ready to overcome the rest of the journey with confidence and less fear.
Great place to take advantage of academic opportunities in preparation for our careers and futures.
I would say the the value of price vs. educational knowledge is as good as any four year collage. I also have know quite a few graduates. All seem to be doing well and are happy with their education. All in All best Value.
Nothing
All kinds of person should addend this school for several reasons, i'll just sum it up: This school has so much diversity there is truly a little bit for all, If you are a person this is the school.
A person who does not study or take class seriously should not be attending this school.
The teachers in my program all come from the same background that they are teaching about. They are able to paint a picture of how the applications we study will apply to the real world. It's also great that our classes are small and hands on. If a student needs help on an assignment, the teacher can walk over within minutes to assist them. I was also able to find an internship due to a job seeking service the school offers students.
The most frustrating thing is the fact that it's a tech college. I sometimes feel that in order to make the money and get the career that I want, I need to to get a bacholors degree, which I am pretty sure I don't want. At this time, it's too early to know how the degree will assist me, but if I had to pick something, this is it.
