10 Students rated Chippewa Valley Technical College
It’s a very open and inviting school. There’s always help and advice when needed. There are many groups and clubs to keep you busy. Both the faculty and other students are friendly and helpful. There’s always some sort of fun activity to do outside of classes.
Overall it is a great school to start at with finding pretty much any kind of trade that is out there. The amount of resources the college offers is wonderful, as long as a future or current student takes advantage of what they offer. The staff's ability to help a student with questions is good and willingness to see the student succeed is there as well.
I have enrolled at Chippewa Valley Technical College in the HVAC program. I have always been a person who likes the hands on work. I have not officially started classes yet. We do that in August. I have attended two open houses, Orientation and class sign up and I find the staff to be very honest. They provided information that was very informative. Provided good information on Financial Aid, Campus Security, Student Activites, job opportunities and went through with us how to set up student emails, how to review financial aid awards, review account information and all other aspects of our accounts. If there were problems with logins they were very good about making sure that we were able to have all issues cleared up before leaving. They also did activities with all the students to help us all introduce ourselves and involved current students in those activities. I believe I am going to really like this school. Friendly students and staff. And they advised that their office doors are always open.
It’s a very good school with lots of learning opportunities and great educators.

If i could go back in time and talk to myself, I would want to be the first person to help prepare myself for the stress to come. As far back as middle school, there were people telling me to be ready and think of what's ahead. I would have been better prepared if i knew what i was getting myself into. I recall being easily distracted and relying on my friends for support, but the future was so clouded with mystery at the time. If i were to talk to my past self, i would have told myself to get all the college forms and payments ready early, and not to fear the future to come. If i had atleast i step in the door, i would be ready to overcome the rest of the journey with confidence and less fear.
Great place to take advantage of academic opportunities in preparation for our careers and futures.
I would say the the value of price vs. educational knowledge is as good as any four year collage. I also have know quite a few graduates. All seem to be doing well and are happy with their education. All in All best Value.
Nothing
All kinds of person should addend this school for several reasons, i'll just sum it up: This school has so much diversity there is truly a little bit for all, If you are a person this is the school.
A person who does not study or take class seriously should not be attending this school.
The teachers in my program all come from the same background that they are teaching about. They are able to paint a picture of how the applications we study will apply to the real world. It's also great that our classes are small and hands on. If a student needs help on an assignment, the teacher can walk over within minutes to assist them. I was also able to find an internship due to a job seeking service the school offers students.
The most frustrating thing is the fact that it's a tech college. I sometimes feel that in order to make the money and get the career that I want, I need to to get a bacholors degree, which I am pretty sure I don't want. At this time, it's too early to know how the degree will assist me, but if I had to pick something, this is it.
