The Citadel is not for everyone. If you are person that dislikes following orders or even respecting your elders then The Citadel is'nt for you. Freshmen year also known as "Knob" year is the toughest year at the Citadel. The reason why it is so difficult is becasue you are required to do unnecessary things. If you are a person that can not manage time or responsable then again The Citadel is not for you.

Someone who does not do well under stress or who cannot handle other people, who are one year or possibly the same age as them, giving the orders in which they must obey.

People who couldn't take being yelled at, criticized, and broken down their first year. People who are not physically fit.

Any person that does not like structure, and does not like to be told what to do. This is a military institution, and thus is not right for everyone.
