I would definitely recommend my community college to anyone looking. The staff is extremely kind and accessible as well as the students. For the most part, everyone is pretty friendly and welcoming. The campus is always extremely tidy, I absolutely have no complaints about my college.
Great experience so far. The campus is well kept. Class sizes are small with opportunities to engage. Your successful educational career path is a priority to the faculty. Professors are available and ready to assist. The student advisors are in contact with you regularly regarding your grades and helpful opportunities.
I think it is a great college with different opportunities and it has what I need I think personally. It's affordable and the campus is close to me and it is really convenient for me. I think it's important for students to see that Kennedy King is the right college for them.

If I were to talk to myself as a high school senior, I would tell my self patience is the key. Patience in the process of attending a four-year instituition becuase you are rushing and too anxious to leave home. You should attend a two-year insituition so you can spend less money on your tuition and recieve the core curriculum for the university but at a less-expensive price. Next, you should get a job to help pay for school instead of attending a school where it would be more difficult to find a job. Finally, help your mother rather than leave for school because she is getting older and she needs your support financially and emotionally.
I think that the worst thing about Kennedy King College is the lack of understanding from the students that the school is an institutuion of higher learning, instead of a bigger version of a high school.
Paying for school
There really isn't a way to describe my classmates in one sentence, I mean some of them, usually the older folks, are really eager to learn and they stay focused 24-7, but others are treating college just like another level of high school by being petty, loud, and talking back to professors, not realizing it's harmful, & a waist of everyones time and money. But I did meet some people who were dedicated, and we had study groups and met often! because of dedication and effort we all passed!
a person who don't have patience. My school is very crowded and it takes a very long time for you to get what u wont because for example when you go to the student service area , it will be alot of people in the waiting area so if you dont have patience and wait you will never get what you want.
Kennedy King College is a Community College filled with high schooled minded students that give the institution a bad reputation.
Whats unique about my school is they have programs, for different people, with different interest. They a building used only for culinary and baking and pastry arts also known as Wasburne Institute. I feel like Kennedy King is a school for everyone but divides us in an ordely manner thats best fit for comfort.
Its okay, kind of upset about the increase in the tuition starting this fall. The availability of the funds for purchasing school items needs to be better as well as the refund rate and date. I wish the city colleges of chicago was not cutting down on staff that does affect when classes can be taken.
Stick with it Don't quit it One day you'll get it!
I wish I had known to use the resources offered at the University I attended prior to this institution.
