The worst thing about my school is the anti-social and segragated environment we have. If you are not an athlete, you are not involved in the school at all, other than academically. There are not any extra-curricular activities or non-political organizations available for students.
I would have to say that the atmosphere is unproductive. The teachers do not remain professional throughout the day. Although they do try to be personal with every student, it still can be considered more of a friendship versus a teacher-student relationship. This allows the students to not take school too seriously. Instead, it is a casual environment that does not encourage productiveness. So when many come to this school, they consider it a "ghetto" community college. After being there for a few weeks, it affects all the student's thinking. The appreciation for education is then lost.
Community College does lack resources that many universities have in surplus but I believe it makes up for with the diverse community of students who are willing to go the extra mile to master and learn.
The worst thing about my school is bathroom sanitation. It is really not that bad. There are two major problems that concern me. First of all, when i am done using the bathroom, and i get ready to wah my hands, there is only soap in one dispencer. When the bathroom is packed this is a problem. Last, the paper towel dispencer is always stuck, so now i have to dry my hands with tissuse. When doing that the tissuse gets stuck to my hand. Besides those factors my school is great. At Least that is what i think.
