Wilbur Wright College is a great place to start your education and it does not keep you at a disadvantage after finishing associate's degree. There are many groups and advisors who help make your transfer process very easy and show you many scholarships available to apply for.
Overall, I believe Wilbur Wright college is great. They have many clubs that can help you advance in your major, or help you figure out your major. Not only are the clubs helpful, but there are also clubs for different activities to participate in and enjoy. The advisors were very helpful, and supportive with my major. They helped me look into different universities that would best benefit me. The professors always motivated me to try harder and were understanding whenever an emergency occurred. They do their best to help the students out through extra credit, or tutoring. Another great aspect of Wilbur Wright is they offer free tutoring and have rooms you can ask to use for group study sessions. Every professor I had did their best to help us understand the subject and used different methods for us to grasp the subject better. My only problem with Wilbur Wright was the lack of an actual soccer team. I really wished they could have had a soccer team for women to join. I did enjoy their soccer club even though men mostly showed up to play, it was fun to play with and against men. I also enjoyed their md/pa club that helped me open up to different career choices, which I might want to consider later on in life. Joining these clubs helped me become more active at Wilbur Wright. This college offers many opportunities for students to get involved in different activities, as well as, learning about different career choices.
Throughout my two years of community college, I would've liked to know that Wilbur Wright excited, for it has been the best campus I've come across since graduating high school. I've transferred from a university into a community college my first year in college and been attending Harold Washington since then. This semester, being the last semester at a community college, there is a class that could only be taken at Wilbur Wright and I regret not having attended there sooner. The environment is so peaceful-the three building are set up to look like pyramids with tunnels connected to each other for easy access across campus, enough parking for the faculty and staff, also for students, and with the high tech escalating quickly, Wilbur is quick to catch up. Administration office seating area is comfortable and staff are always so eager to help, and the professors care for their students outside the classroom. If I can go back and redo my two years, I would definitely would have applied to Wilbur sooner.

You should start looking and filling out scholarship applications since the begining of the school year. Researc the schools you think that you want to attend. Before you make your final decision on what school you would like to attend, you should go and visit the campus. Research the career that you want to go into and try to get in contact with someone in that major, so that you become familairized with it. Work on your time management skills now becuase they will be useful in get tting your work done in a timely manner.Getting a good night sleep is very important, you must manage your time right in order for you to be able to get the proper amount of sleep. If you could not get a proper sleep you should make time the next day to take an hour nap, it will help you function better through out your day. You should schedule some down to do something recreational becuase this will help lower your stress level. While you are doing homework if it starts to become too overwhelming you should take a ten minute break becuase the quality of your work could suffer.
Affordable and very person oriented
They a classmates that can help one other. In wright college there a people that are older and geting done with school.
The best thing about my school is the students and the freedom. The students in the school are mostly nice and interactive which really helps inhance the college experience. I also like the freedom of havin night classes morning classes and even at home courses over the computer.
The worst thing about my school is having to buy books at the bookstore. The system that they have in place is not as efficient as I believe it could be. The whole proccess takes longer than I believe it should. There was a different system at my previous university and that was more efficent and took less time.
Anybody can go to Wright. I met people from all over the world, young and old, who found a reason to be there.
I believe this school is for any person who wants to go to college whether it's just for a few years for a specific program or for the person who is going to transfer to a four year university Wright has it all.
The school I am currently attending is a community college. I never imagined that going somewhere other than a well-known university or ivy league school would bring me any satisfaction. However, Wright College has a small amount of students per class room which results in more personalized instruction from the professors. It also has a comfortable atmosphere and the campus is lovely. I was denied financial aid so I chose to go somewhere I could afford and not have too travel too far from home. Wright College has become my home away from home.
It is a cheap alternative to get your basic classes done.
The aspect of community college that has caused me the most mental turnmoil has been the perception that most people hold towards community colleges. As a hispanic student with a 4.1 GPA and a 28 ACT score, most people expected me to attend a prestigious four-year university yet financial problems did not allow me to. Yet when I mention to people that I attend Wright College, they think that I am a less capable student than I truly am. This con be troublesome for me as at time I have doubted myself.
I would say that most people in the area associate wright college with affordable schooling. It's a good place for those who don't quite know what career they want or what field is right for them.
Like i said in previous question, more than half staffs are part-timers and they dont care about students as long as they makes money
