CMC students are highly intelligent and driven. They are there simply because they see it as the best possible gateway to their desired career--which in most cases is finance. The stereotypes run strong, particularly amongst members of the 5 C's (CMC, Mudd, Scripps, Pomona, Pitzer). * The students are driven by their desire for money, power, and status. * The political environment sways conservative. * Students are practical-minded and tend to frown upon majors that do not lead directly into lucrative careers (i.e., philosophy, literature) * The student body is saturated with beer-chugging jocks and slutty girls living off family money. * Students tend to be intolerant of racial or sexual minorities, and of liberal causes.
