I wish I had known that north quad dorms at CMC are designed in a suite style layout. In contrast to the typical hall style dorms which can be found in mid and south quad, the suite style dorms have one common bathroom which eight students share. My living arrangement it great because I do not have to walk far to get to the bathroom, however for freshman I would recommend living in a hall style dorm. For first years the hall makes social interaction easier because the hall style dorm has more people.

I wish I knew how much a risk is rewarded. Taking steps outside of one's comfort zone leads to the true fruits of life. I was scared to take advantage of all the fabulous, and yet new, opportunities. Jumping into the figurative cold water of the risk oriented avenues provided in the academic and career driven world of claremont mckenna pays dividends. I wish i knew this before, and that I wasn't reflecting on this out of feelings of regret.

I wish I would have known about the party culture of CMC. Although I fit in great, I didn't realize the amount of focus placed on weekend partying and it definately caught me off-guard freshman year. There isn't pressure to party...in fact, there are a TON of non-alcoholic weekend activities. However, it is a huge part of the social culture.
