I enrolled in the online cohort for the MSLS, and I loved the program. Online learning isn't for everybody, however; if you aren't a self-directed and motivated learner, online learning may be a challenge.

At Illinois College, it's trying to be diverse and as an african american student I feel offended by the rude remarks and odd looks I get from my white counterparts. We're in a society that you should feel comfortable being around people of other races.

The only type of person that really shouldn't attend Clarion is a person whose heart is dead set on a large school, or a person who thinks that Clarion is beneath them. Honestly Clarion is the perfect environment for any first year college student because it is small enough you can't get lost, however the university is growing and becoming more and more popular as the years go on. So to answer the question, unless you are a super genius with an IQ of 200+ you really should consider Clarion.

People who should not attend Clarion University are people that do not like to sit in a class and take notes or listen to professors talk. Also, people who like to party all day and do nothing else should not attend Clarion University. School is to learn and get an education. No one should want to waste there money; college is not cheap.

Someone who doesn't care about his or her education should not attend Clarion University.

A person should not attend Clarion University if they do not like the snow and the cold weather. For instance today, as i am typing this, it is around 9 degrees out and the wind chill is around -7 decrees. Also, if a person does not like the small town atmosphere and a small campus with around 7,000 students they should not choose to come here. A person who like to drink alcohol would not want to come here because it is a dry campus which means you are not allowed to drink while you are on campus.

Clarion is a small town with a family oriented enviornment. The school does provide countless opportunities and organizations to join, however the area is limited. I would not recommend Clarion to someone who enjoys the city life or large populations. If you are one who is always looking for somewhere to go and something to do, then the small town is not for you. Clarion county allows people to create their own fun and explore the land around them.

The only person that wouldn't be happy at this school is somebody looking for a very large or non state affiliated school. Also to be happy here you need to be accepting of the cold and snowy winters!

To be honest, I really cannot think of a certain type of person that should not attend this school. I have seen many different walks of life on this campus and every single person is accepted for who they are. Its a great school to come to meet friends becuase it is not too big, and it shouldn't make too many people feel overwhelmed.

I don't believe Clarion makes people feel uncomfortable. There are many students that are of different ethnicities, majors and interests. Most people that do attend Clarion University are either Lower or Middle Class. There are a select few people who are of Upper- Class.

Nobody is an outcast at this school. Everyone's individualities are embraced.
