I wish I had known that almost any experience can have a positive effect on a person, as long as they are looking for the silver lining. Though community colleges can be considered "less than," and it can be intimidating to take classes at such a large school, Clark College is a wonderful school. The best thing about Clark is the professors. I have had many good professors and also some amazing professors who have changed my life. Overall, the faculty and staff are looking to positively impact the community and strive to do their job well.
I wish I had known about administrative delays at Clark College. Fill out all the forms you need early. Get your paperwork in early. If you feel there might be a hitch in the system that is causing delays, go talk to the sppropriate department, they will not notify quickly. This will in turn cause more delays. I wish I had known to be completely on top of all administrative matters regarding admission, registration, and financial aid.
i wish i would have known how much responibility you must have for yourself and how much self disapline one must have. most teachers do not take role and they do not bug you about your homework. they believe that you are here for a reason and that you are paying to learn so you should be the one making sure that you get what you need to do done with out them telling you and reminding you constantly
