As a senior I did not realize how hard it would be to pace myself school wise. I tend to work at my school too much and never relax. I would have told myself to learn to let go sometimes and enjoy life. I would have worked harder at my studie skills in learning how to study for timed tests. I would have timed myself on tests. One major thing I wish I had learned was how to take tests. I would tell myself to learn to stand up for myself more and learn to say when something is wrong.
That it is near the beach and its usualy fairly warm. The teachers are very good and the students are very friendly. It is a good place to grow and make life long friends.
The best thing about CCC is the opportunity you get to further your relationship with the Lord.
My classmates are friendly, dedicated individuals with unique personalities and hearts that are ready to welcome anyone in!
People interested in a good education in a good christian environment.
Clearwater Christian College is a great academic institution which promotes spiritual and academic growth and excellence through mentoring by students and teachers.
Being a small, closely-knit school, and a decent athletic program.
I wish that I has known more about college life and about managing my time. College was big adjustment, and the freshmen coming in didn't always have the preparation for their first year.
The focus is God centered. Their is a great student to teacher ratio which allows for a more personal approach to teaching, which makes for a better learning experience. It is unique in the way that most everyone on campus has a love for the Lord which brings joy to campus life.
Some factors that might keep you from attending Clearwater Christian College are a lack of respect for rules, or if you aren't fond of a smaller student body (CCC is made up of roughly 600 students). Also if you are not a Christian, and not seeking a Christian education so that you can use your future career for God's glory, then this school is probably not the place for you.
The worst thing at the school would be the food. why? becasue its not cooked that well or just taste nasty.
Clearwater Christian College has excellent faculty but not enough of them. The faculty teach very well but are often overloaded with work. Scheduling classes can also be a challange. Because of the college's small size certain classes are only offered up to ever other semester. Other classes are offered every semester but at only one time--example Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM. Still other classes or groups of classes are only taught by one professor, giving students no varitety.
