Clemson is fun, but it's also college.
Clemson is the greatest place in the world to experience many different things. By being a closed campus in a college town, you have the chance to meet people and not really be alone as you might be in a large city. College is the time to figure out what you like and who you really are. I don't think I would have had the same college experience or made the same friends anywhere but Clemson
Clemson is an awesome college. I was raised to hate it like the devil yet I somehow ended up going there, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
GO TIGERS!
There is nowhere else better to be than Clemson South Carolina!!
Clemson is the little big school. Small town atmosphere with a big University presence!
Clemson rocks, just be aware it's a largely conservative student body and that someone will try to save you at least once a month. I just tell 'em I'm Catholic (I'm not).
Personally, I like Clemson because of the Mechanical Engineering Program and the instructors. Clemson is a growing college, they are building new buildings all over campus and they are improving the engineering program every year. Clemson is not so good for business school, so don't come here for business.
College is what you make of it. Find classes, friends, and activities that challenge you and excite you. That is what will make it easy to wake up every day like it is the best day of your life... because it is!
Clemson can be te perfect fit for alot of students. I like how they try to cater to individuals but still look after everyone.
Buy a lot of orange clothes before you move in... and know who Oliver Purnell and Tommy Bowden are (even if half the student population hates Tommy because he keeps blowing it for us). Clemson is awesome...what school has two mascots?
Clemson is a great school, much better than Texas A&M in every way. Going to Clemson is the reason I have an amazing job at Rhythm and Hues making movies. My undergraduate degree at A&M did nothing for me. Very expensive for out of staters. If you are out of state going for your graduate degree, get an assistantship anyway you can. It pays for most of your college tuition which is why I have no debts to pay after I left.
Parking sucks on campus. Really. I have never heard so many students angry over something as I have heard over parking services. Campus food is pretty good. I am a vegetarian and they make it easy for me to maintain my vegetarian diet and eat a variety of different foods. I would recommend not taking anything for granted. College goes by way too fast to just let it pass you by.
When I am away from campus, I feel like I am away from my home, my family really.
Go to Clemson!
Clemson will screw you, always watch your back.
Clemson is an all around great school, and I think there is very few students at Clemson that feel they made a poor decision is selecting it at their school.
Um, the girls are very attractive for the most part and it is college, so people are hooking up left and right/experimenting just like anywhere else. Parties and bars are pretty much the ideal places to pick up girls I'd say, and meeting people through mutual friends is often a popular option for the passive-aggressive people out there. It's college, and it is what it is so make the best of your 4 years here if you do choose to come. The people around town are super-friendly and cater to college folk, the students are nice for the most part and are out to have a good time just like you, and the professors are helpful and actually want you to succeed.
Will you recommend? Why did you choose? What do you think of your decision? I will definitely recommend my school... I chose it over Ivy League schools... It has been one of the best decisions for my career.
I love Clemson. 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, C-L-E-M-S-O-N T-I-G-E-RRRR-S Fight Tigers, Fight Tigers, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!! Woooooh
Clemson is amazing. I got into 8 amazing colleges when I applied and I chose Clemson and I have never regretted it even for a second. I recommend this college for anyone who is motivated to have an outstanding future but who is also ready to have some fun.
Go Tigers!
Everything here seems cool.
This school is really fun.
...
I believe that someone is crazy-absolutely crazy, not to fall in love with this place or not to be able to see the evident love for Clemson in everyone's faces when they visit Clemson's campus.
The saying about what you put into something is what you get out is DEFINED at Clemson. It is totally true that if you put any effort at all into enjoying it here and making friends, you WILL do just that.
Yeah, I am a Construction Science and Management major. If you're going to ask me to fill out a survey where my major is required, I suggest you get all of the majors here at Clemson on your list.
That's about it :-)
