The Campus is not diverse enough. Clemson is a school for "rednecks" and "farmers". Great Sports
Preppy and very southern belle. A little bit backwoods and red neck too.
redneck
1. That they are all engineers 2. That they are all rednecks 3. That they party really hard
I think most people feel that all college students want to do is party and get drunk.
Everyone is NOT as smart as they are portrayed. Clemson IS has hard as people say it is.
That Clemson is in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do and that there is no deversity
The main stereotype of Clemson is that it is a major party school and that all Clemson students party.
populated by farm boys and girls college sports crazy strong engneering school hot redheads party school
Many of the stereotypes create the preconceived notion that most Clemson students are deeply rooted in their southern traditions, where boys where typical southern "frat" stuff and the girls are southern belles, some of which are just there to receive their M.R.S. degrees. Clemson, as a city, is stereotypes to be a desolate, remote, hick-town village in the middle of nowhere with little civilization encompassing its area.
People often cited that they are more of sportspersons than academicians. Mostly stay in SC.

We love supporting our tigers in all areas of our athletics. We have true Clemson tiger pride and strive hard in the classroom. Some may say that we like to party too much though.
Clemson is seen as a small boring town with students that are mainly from around the state.
Clemson is just a bunch of frat boys and sorority girls.
Nice, friendly Southern students; well put-together; very attractive people; rabid football fans; many rich students
The stereotype is that we are still an agricultural school and we're all rednecks and farmers up here. Most people (USC students) think that Clemson is boring and since it's not a city atmosphere that there's nothing to do for fun.
Some of the more popular stereotypes that you hear are relating to the agricultural history of Clemson. Many people believe that Clemson are predominately farmers and the typical southern rednecks. Another common stereotype is that Clemson is all about its football team.
That it is a huge party school and not much on curriculum.
It's in the middle of no where and we are all farmers
Rednecks, country, stupid
The usual stereotypes of Clemson students is usually one of arrogance and passion for their football.
Preppy, snobbish, party 24/7
Stereotypes about Clemson students are that they just party all the time.
It's a big agricultural school and everyone who goes here are soon-to-be farmers. I've gotten more than one "do you ride your tractor to campus?"
People are generally closed-minded and unaware of social issues. There is also a lot of greek life here.

Clemson's a party school. Clemson's a hard school to get through. Clemson sucks!
That all of the white males are frat boys with the crokies and rainbows and polo shirts
I think the biggest stereotype that Clemson students receive is that we are too preppy and high maintenance. A lot of people view Clemson as being "the white school" or the "the white school with the preppy black kids". Another stereotype that is known about Clemson is that all of the students are extremely smart. One stereotype I discovered was that "all the black students are in engineering". Another stereotype about Clemson is that it is known only for its football program. One last stereotype is that Clemson has a lot of racial issues that are being ignored.
That everyone is in involved in Greek Life; we have a better reputation for our parties than for our academics
Clemson students are stereotyped as preppy or (Southern) rednecks with a large Greek population.
Clemson students are probably seen as the type of people that typically attend large Southern schools: conservative, raised in church, and active in Greek life. They are seen as very intelligent but maybe too laid back to attend a higher-ranked school.
