Students looking for a very social campus or a school with lots of Greek life would be disappointed at CSU. There are many commuters, so students don't get as many opportunities to attend school-sponsored social events as they might at a school with a bigger campus.

If a prospective student cannot commit the majority of their energy to schooling, he or she may want to reconsider whether attending college is the best decision. Regardless, education enriches the mind on a deeper level.

CSU is very diverse and allow anyone to feel confrontable on their campus. Because it mainly is a commuter school people tend to complete course work and leave campus.

Cleveland State University is definitely an urban school, located in the center of downtown. It is also an extremely culturally diverse school, so anyone with race, stereotypes or similar issues would probably not like this school. Anyone can attend Cleveland State University. Students are very welcoming of people, no matter what their race, social status, religion, or sex. There is no reason for someone not to attend Cleveland State University unless they do not have the academic requirements. There is a great variety of people at Cleveland State.

Someone who needs things handed to them to make friends and do well academically. You have to be ambitious and want to work hard to succeed here.

Cleveland State University is an extremely Diverse school and I don't think anyone would have trouble fitting in here. However, it has no football team so if you are a College football fan I suggest you go elsewhere.

A person who likes tranquil settings would not appreciate attending this school. It is a very high-paced and sometimes uncaring environment. The parking and dinings situation is also very bad due to recent construction. Students as a whole are also not very close as they just tend to congregate in in their own groups.
