My opinion overall of Coastal Carolina Community College is a positive one. I have been enrolled here since my freshman year of high school and will be graduating May 14, 2022, so roughly four years of experience at this campus. This college campus does not have specifically related housing (on or off campus), but there are many options for housing around the city that are no more than a general 15-minute drive. The food at the school is very good, with many things being made to order. There is a salad bar and healthy area in the cafe. The professors are very good at what they do and most of them are personable people. This school is good for the price.
For a community college, it's fine. It is in a military town so there are a lot of people from all over. Some classes are awesome and I learned a lot from my teachers while some classes are redundant and the teachers just read off powerpoints. The campus is clean, the classes are on average about 15 to a class.
I highly recommend this school and any community college if you are transitioning from a high school graduate to a college freshman. One, its cheaper and two, its a good place to get a feel of living the college lifestyle. It is where you can find out if you want to continue your education at a 4 year college or if you think the college life is not for you. Either way, its okay to go or not go to college. all I ask is that you at least try it before making up your mind.
The college is in a great area. It is in a military town so there is a lot of opportunity to meet new people from all over. The college is a great place to start if planning to go to college. The professors are very knowledgeable and very accessible. The school gave me a good place to start and get get ahead in my education. I was able to focus so that I may earn a GPA that gets me recognized by higher level institutions.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Coastal Carolina Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
1. Research EVERY AND ALL scholarships in your down time. It is worth it when you finally get the letter in the mail that you qualified for a $500 or $1000 scholarship and WON! 2.Be prepared for registration by reading up on everything you will need and bring it with you even if you doubt you need it. Get your books early as possible after you have registered for your classes - the sooner you get them, the less time you have to worry IF you will get them in time for your class. 3.Be sure to read your books prior to the first day of class! The more you know stepping into the classroom for the first time, the better prepared you are for what the instructor has to say. 4. Always have extra paper, pens/pencils, white-out ribbon, and a thumb drive!
My classmates at CCCC are determined and driven to become academically successful while also super fun and creative.

Coastal Carolina Community College is close to home and also provides the education for what I would like to study. At Coastal you get to work hands on with just about anything you study. They want you to be ready for everything once you gradute and get your own job. There are also staff all around you that are willing to help you in anyway.
yes class participation is common
its cheap to attend so i can pay out of pocket and not be broke every month. more flexability to work schedules, and i would like to see childcare provided. just right just not good parking.
The instructional staff is exceptional, full of personality, and is willing to answer questions without hesitation. The Administrative and scholarship councilors always know the answers to my questions and I have never been lead astray or sent in the wrong direction for anything. The registration process is even easy.

I think the only person who shouldn't attend this school is someone who is not motivated, or does not care to be at the school. They are wasting their own time, money (or maybe someone elses), and can be distracting to other students who want to learn.
What's frustrating about my school is that I'm an introvert so I have difficulty talking to people. Not many teachers or students reach out so if your an introvert you have to figure out a way to communicate and be comfortable talking.
