I wish I would have known to begin doubling up on my science courses right away, rather than beginning my Freshman year only taking one science course class.
That it would be so easy to make friends and feel at home.
I wish I had known to ask more about the various campus groups. There's just so much you can get involved in! I think it would have been easier to ask my admissions counselor rather than feel so overwhelmed at the organizational fair during orientation week.
I wish that I had known that college requires you to be more open and open-minded about things in society. You won't find the groups you had in high school, but rather a unique set of individuals to develop friendships. Money is always going to be an issue and we'll be in debt after college. Be yourself and not someone else. Don't be afraid of change because things happen that are beyond your control. Make the best of what you've got now and don't worry about the future.
I wish I had know just how much fun I would have and how much I would learn. I would not have been so nervous.
How to study more effectively.
How great the people are!
