Colby-Sawyer College Top Questions

Colby-Sawyer College is best known for its nursing program. It is extremely competitive only allowing 32 spots to be filled and clinical hours being performed at Dartmouth Hospital. The College is also known for having a hands-on environmental studies program, which involves the students into the New London and surrounding areas community by creating a community based plan for sustainable living. We are known for our community and the close relationships that we create through our college experience. Everyone at the school becomes family.

Being warm, welcoming--people really care about each other and want to get to know you, especially your professors. It's also located in a beautiful area with a lot of opportunities for outdoor activities like skiing, kayaking, and hiking.

My school is best known for its academic excellence. As much fun as we might have, everyone here works super hard, and really takes there classes and majors very seriously. School work is 1st priority here, no questions asked. For as much money we have to pay to go here everyone makes it worth there while.

Our most well known academic was Athletic Training and Exercise and Sports Science, followed by Education and then Communication Studies. Out most well known Sports event was probably swimming, followed by Basketball. We had a very diverse art program and our largest club on campus was the Dance Club.
