SCAD was my second choice school, but as soon as I visited, I fell in love with it. SCAD is amazing, and the professors are extremely knowledgeable. Of course, no school is perfect for everyone, and it has its flaws. The food isn't the greatest (although it's improved a LOT since my first year), and some of the buildings are old (they renovate historic buildings for classrooms), but overall, I would highly recommend it. ESPECIALLY if you like a lot of weird artsy, nerdy things.
My overall opinion of the school is positive. The best thing about this school is the environment. Everyone is very friendly and very accepting. The only thing I would change is the food. I wish SCAD had better options and more choices for meals. SCAD is a very prestigious college so i'm not surprised when people act impressed when they find out I attend SCAD. I spend most of my time doing work. This college isn't easy. The professors are all highly skilled and they have been working in the same field they teach for years. So we get to learn things that we will actually use once we begin working for our first internship and starting our career.
