The community college has three different locations in order to accomadate as much of the county as possible with the main campus being in Ocala, Fl. Regardless of the campus, each one is a reasonable size with the students having access to their needs without getting lost.
The college that I am going to is very welcoming to its students. I like how the professors are so caring and helpful towards the students. The new name of Central Florida Community College is now called College of Central Florida. The college campus has an aura of safeness. The college has various clubs on the campus. I like how they hold events such as like Stress Busters when it comes to final exams. I am going to be staying on the Ocala campus while going for my Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems through Saint Leo University.
Central Florida Community college provides an abundance of student activities to participate in. From ?Faithapalooza? to free food festivals, there is something for everyone to enjoy. CFCC houses many art exhibitions in their Webber Center that allow students and members of the community to broaden their horizons (for free!) and experience the gift of art. They also have partnered with the local museum, The Appleton. Many of the humanities courses often meet there for class. The Appleton also allows students from Central Florida Community College to enter free of charge, as often as they wish.
Even though Its a community college, they try to help you with your transition to a 4 year University. They have regional campuses with in Central Florida Community College so you can transfer to the University of Florida, University of Central Florida, Saint Leo University... just to name a few. The classes are relatively small and the faculty is just amazing.
I hate to say it, but I choose this school because it was inexpensive and close to home.
The beautiful spacious campus filled with a wide range of activities as well as a positive and exciting atmosphere cannot be beat.
