I wish I would have known how nice people atucally were.
I wish I would have known how much the work load would be. My high school did not really prepare me to go to a nationally acclaimed college like CofC. I wish I would have known about reading 100 pages a week and having three tests and two papers due in six school days.
how ridiculous off campus housing is
While the college experience has been great, the thing I wish someone would have told me, would be that you are on own. No one tells you to go to class, eat, take a shower, etc. Not that I need reminding, it's just nice to have people around to make sure that your alright, like your family. I plan on helping the girls coming up in my sorority with this.
I wish I would have known about the campus a little bit more because my school is in a city and is very spread out. Knowing the campus before the first day of classes is ideal so one doesnt get lost and be late to class.
How much work it would be. I didn't study much in highschool.
Nothing
Where was the cheepest place to buy my books from.
I wish I had known how important it was to make it to class on time! I did poorly in one of my major classes because of my tardieness (given it's 7:30 start time), but now I know everything really matters, and I'm doing much better.
I wish that I had known more about foreign study opportunities.
I'd wish I'd known that college is truly what you make it. Also knowing how to relax and being able to say yes to opportunity, and I can do it to challenges got me through college effectively. Being able to excede the limit, and celebrating what you passionately earned is the key to enjoying your years of college and reaching success in your careers. I learned all of these when I transferred to the College of Charleston. To be honest, I'd wish I'd known how incredible it would be to learn about myself by the water.
I wish that I had returned to school earlier
???
I wish I knew how hot it got during the spring and stayed hot through the fall.
