Honestly, I did not consider too many other schools. When I first moved to the area, from Canada, it was the community college I lived closest too. I am so thankful it was. Even though I have since moved out of Dupage County I still go to COD because I like the guidance counselors, teachers and online courses so much! Why give up such a good thing?

College of DuPage allows you to get your general education classes finished without having to pay a university tuition.

The High School that I attended was unique because where I was located it was close to a military post so the school offered JROTC for students who planned on going into some type of military branch after they graduated. They offered alot of extra curricular activities from step, color gaurd, FTA , FBLA , FCCLA , ect. There were alot of activities for school students to get into. Wich made me happy because if it werent for those after school activities I would have never would have came out of my shell and made friends.

My school is a school for everybody. You never know who you are going to meet. Best of all, most everyone is humble, because it's only community college. But we're all there to achieve, so there is a lot of hard work going on.

My school is unique in that it offers many different foreign languages. It offers Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, and German. I believe that this makes my school unique because it allows a large blend of people to interact and understand different cultures much better.

My school to me is seen like a stepping stone to something bigger, something I can achieve. Community college is a great way to gain your general education credits and figure out what major or what school you want to transfer to while going to school. It is exceptional in a way that they are expanding and hope to become an accedited university .

What is unique about College of DuPage is the quality of the education. I have many friends who started off at College of Dupage and have since gone on to a four year school and truly feel that the education they got from College of DuPage was much better than what they have at their current university. Although it is a Community College, College of DuPage truly holds its own.

A community college is an unlikely place to find a great graphic design program, but somehow the College of DuPage has managed to wrangle together a tightly knit group of extremely passionate and talented teachers. They are committed to bringing us the best design education they can possible fit into a two-year program, so they waste no time in their instruction and they are never hesitant to provide personal guidance. I plan on transferring to a four-year school next fall, and they tell me that C.O.D. transfer students are among the best they have.
