What kind of person should attend this school?

Kalah

High school graduates who are looking to transfer and want to save money. Adults who want to continue their education. People who want to do gen eds and haven't decided on a major yet.

Jim

I think everyone should attend College of DuPage. You are literally saving thousands of dollars by making this choice. The classes are essentially identical as the other universities and most courses are transferable. Another reason why I believe everyone should attend College of DuPage is because of the office hours. All of the teachers stress on the high amount of office hours that are available for extra help. This also shows how all of the teachers teach their classes and not any teacher aides. The diversity of the student body is excellent; I've met many different types of people.

Once a high school dropout, now I am an honors student at the College of DuPage. For thirty years I avoided returning to school, staying safely away from that impenetrable-seeming jungle of intellectual self-challenge, fearful of what I might not find. But finally I found my courage, took the GED, and signed up for a few classes; and what a revelation I encountered! COD is a garden of shared knowledge, abounding with energy. This school is rich and fertile soil, and anyone who plants themselves here with intent to learn will blossom with their own academic second growth.

The College of DuPage provides a high-level education for a fraction of the cost compared to other universities. Students who are looking to get a head start without breaking their bank accounts should attend COD. DuPage is a starting point for young adults or older adults who may have suspended their education or are looking to boost their resumes. Students who are looking to make good friends, experience campus life, gain work experience, and have a positive learning environment must attend the College of Dupage. In closing, students with determination, hard-work ethic, and perseverance should attend this college.

Amir

The kind of person that should attend this school is someone who is looking for direction, someone that has ambition to pursue higher learning but is not quite sure of their major just yet and needs that extra push before attending the four-year university of their choice. College of DuPage is by no means a push over community college; it provides the same classes as most four-year universities and individuals attending should have the same drive as they would at the college of their choice. People attending should take the two years very seriously.

Matthew

I think anyone should attend this school. College of DuPage has so many different types of people which makes it very easy to find people that you get allong with. Just because it is a junior college does not make anyone dumber or smarter than someone who goes to a university. You get challenged in all your classes which will set me up for when I transfer to a university.
