It's a great school. I would highly recommend going to Utah State University-College of Eastern Utah because it gives you all the options that larger schools do but with a much smaller campus. The athletics are good and many people live for game day.
It’s a really good school for being in the medical fields, they’re very welcoming at the campus. But I don’t think they have that much clubs or organizations for students to join. It’s really quiet at the college campus in Blanding, Utah.
The teachers are nice, feels very close knit, the coaches are crazy here, they bring you down, and push you too much. The trainers and assistant coaches are incredibly nice. Some professors are known to pick favorites and give an outrageous amount of work. I personally wouldn't return to this school.
The college Utah State University Eastern is absolutely outstanding. The campus is large and the number of attending students is high. Majority of the students that attend are rather successful and do well. The cosmetology program is rated as one of the very best that there is.

If I had the option of going back in time to talk to myself as a high school senior, there would be a substantial amount of information concerning college I would advise myself on: starting at a smaller college, tuition costs, jobs, scholarships, class sizes, professors, and class work/lectures. First, tuition costs are extremely expensive. Starting a college experience at a smaller college to afford tuition without thousands of dollars in student loans is a mature, and very advised action. An individual can receive all the education they need to obtain their general classes. Attending school full-time and working is tough, and it is possible, but not the most exciting college experience. The social aspect of college is also important. When applying for schools, starting with a smaller college makes you elegible for more schoarships from the school because more are available-makes life easier! Smaller schools equal smaller class sizes, personable professors, and lectures that are easier to understand and follow along with. Starting a first-time college experience at a two-year, or small college, is a smart move. With all the aspects that come with a small college, the good outweighs the bad.
I think the best thing about my school would be the faculty. All of the teachers I've had the pleasure of meeting are way fun and very helpful. If i had any questions about anything there was always a time I could get the help I needed. They are also a very nice group of people with smiles and greetings to help you get through the bad days, no matter whats on your mind.
It's a great college to get gen eds out of the way. Great environment, friendly people
The number one bragging right I have to hold against anyone attending another college or university is the tution differences. At the College of Eastern Utah, I pay half, sometimes less than half, of what other students pay at a larger college or university. Being a college student is tough enough when just school work is concerned-why not relieve yourself from some of that stress and not worry about tuition costs. Whether a scholarship is involved or not, tuition costs are reasonable and obtainable.
Our school is best known for our dinosaur museum.
Advisors are great once you know what you want to do, but when your trying to decide, I've found the best way is to take as many interesting classes you can find
The College of Eastern Utah is a home away from home, with more education involved.
My classmates are fun, exciting, and love to make college a great learning experience without ever having a dull moment.
In Highschool my counslers did not help me out very much with college so I had to learn on my own. I have learned that I need to check out other colleges before desiding on the cheapest one. I have learned if i spend my money on college i might as well save up and go to higher up colleges or universities.
I wish I would've known how important it was to take college credit classes in high school, so that once you got to college, you could focus more on the kind of subjects that pertain to your major or minor. Or just classes that intrest you. I also wish I would've known to take scholarship applications a lot more seriously.
The fact that it is located in Price and not many classes are offered.
