I love the wide variety of events, clubs, and views. We have clubs for both democrats and republicans, religous clubs, LGBT clubs, clubs centered around certain ethnicities, music clubs, art clubs, and academic clubs. I also love the enormous amount of school spirit around our campus as well as the welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

Coming here has really opened my options up for me and I am able to do alot of things I never thought possible. This school really is here to help you succeed later on in life and that is so reassuring. I love the friendlinses around campus and the great teacher to student relationships. I feel at home when I am here and that is amazing. Ps..don't forget it isn't all about school work. We also have alot of other fun here too!

College is AWESOME. The independence, the freedom, etc. Everything is amazing. All the people you meet are awesome and your profs are so understanding.

St. Ben's has a really friendly atmosphere. From the moment I walked onto campus, I have felt a part of a community. The students are accepting of everyone. The professors care about your success and are there to help you succeed. I also found it unique that you could be part of a varsity athletic team and still be able to succeed acedemically.

Saint Ben’s is unique in that it offered me community. Students here live by Benedictine Values, and I have never met a person here who has not been kind and helpful. The faculty and staff have my best interests in mind, and will do whatever they can to help me get to where I want to be in the future. Saint Ben’s offers me a wide range of opportunities to expand my horizons, whether those are based on classes, music, culture, spirituality, exercise, or meeting other students. I cannot imagine a better school to attend.

The CSB/SJU community is extremely welcoming and caring, in addition to its great academics and location. Also important, the food at the CSB dining hall (Gorecki) is VERY good and there are many choices.

The Link bus system can be frustrating when you realize that you've spent day 1 hour of your day on the bus (it is about a 12 minute ride in between campuses). However, when the roads are dangerous due to freezing temps/snow/ice, we get classes cancelled and it's the perfect time to sled with friends! CSB|SJU have absolutely beautiful campuses and the fact that alumni come back so often is a testament to this. The Midwestern people are so nice and this truly is a great place to go to college.

Christine

Great school

Positives to St. Ben's: the professors and classes are awesome and the people are even cooler. If you go here you'll definitely be accepted as part of the community. The connection with St. John's is awesome because you have twice the options for everything--two cafs, two workout centers, two theaters, two libraries, etc. If one campus doesn't have something you like, odds are the other one will. Negatives: If you're used to big-city life, you might have a hard time adjusting to sleepy little St. Joe. The Link (the bus service between CSB and SJU) runs every half hour when classes aren't in session, so sometimes it's annoying to have to plan your day around the bus, but you get used to it and it's not a big deal. Generally people think that St. Ben's is all girls and SJU is all boys, and while technically it's true, during the day you never notice it and it's REALLY not a big deal! Overall the benefits of CSB/SJU by far outweigh the negatives.

Maria

I love Saint Ben's and Saint John's. Everyone here is so welcoming and will do anything to help you feel comfortable.

Mary

CSB is a wonderful school and I highly recommend you come and visit us!

Sarah

People would have to consider the Link, which is the bus between SJU and CSB. It is not a problem during the school day, because buses are constantly running. At night, however, it is sometimes an inconvenience. A person has to plan if they want to go to the other campus. The buses come every thirty minutes at each campus so the wait is not too long.

Michelle

CSB rocks and if I had to go back and choose my college again, I would pick CSB in a heartbeat.

Nicole

I truly believe these schools are the hidden gem of MN higher education. A lot of attention gets paid to Mac and Carleton (which are great schools) but CSB/SJU is a wonderful unique place.

Taylor

My school has the sense of a close community. Everyone is very friendly and not much discrimination takes place. The professors are very helpful and contact you if they have any concerns. The campus is very safe and security comes to help you if you ever feel that you need assistance walking around campus.

Greta

It is located on a gorgeous piece of property with it's own lake, and nature trails and I love that; academically speaking it is pretty good, but I didn't feel challenged enough.
