Gorecki, is the caf at CSB and the Reef is the caf at SJU (Gorecki is better) Ha. The food is amazing, there is fresh fruit and veggies everyday, toast and bagels, a mongolian bar which is stir fry. There is a home cooked meal line which will have traditional, lasagna, mashed potatos meat. A salad bar and yogart bar. Then also there is a grill line with grilled cheese, chicken and hamburgers..also the snack bar which has ice cream and cookies or pie. Then there is ALWAYS cereal available. It's quiet the layout.

New as of 2007, CSB has Gorecki dining center. Biased as I may be, the food here is better than a majority of the colleges I have visited friends at (in fact, better than the food at all of my friends campus'). As a first and second year student at CSB you have what is called a continuous meal plan. Allowing for you to enter the dining hall as many or as few times as you please in one day for no more money. Here is a rundown of what is available everyday; mongolian grill (on the weekends it is an omelete bar), pizza and pasta, two soups, salad bar, grill items, a homestyle station offering the types of food mom would make as well as a different salad tossed to order each day, and a sandwhich bar as well as desserts, cereal and an array of beverage options. Beyond the main dining hall there are other locations to eat as well. As a CSB student our meal plan is consistent on the SJU campus as well, so you are more than welcome to eat over there as much or as little as you please too. The eating atmosphere is very comfortable as well, dining has always been a very social thing for me, it's fun to make dinner "dates" and catch up on your week with friends. Beyond the variety of options foodwise, I would also like to comment on the quality. The food is fantastic, the pizza is wood-fired, the fruit is fresh and products are purchased locally as much as possible. Beyond high quality food the people that work within the facilities are also so kind and always helpful.

We have the Refectory at SJU and Gorecki at CSB, both are great choices and are not the same in the slightest bit. Gorecki is dependable, always have an option of pizza, pasta, salad, the grill, and it has the mongolian grill; you will always find something to eat at Gorecki. The Refectory at SJU is a little more up in the air, they have the homestyle station, the international station, the grill, salad station, soups, and great desserts. Some of my favorites there are the deep fried ravioli and when we have the local foods we get the treat of tater tot casserole. St Johns also has the option of Sexton, where you can get a slice of pizza, a sub, a burger and fries anything to satisfy a craving. There's a similar option at McGlynns at St Bens, though most find it slightly better than Sexton.

At St. Bens I feel like we have one of the best dining halls! Gorecki (the main dining hall) has tons of options for everyone! A few of them are the mongolian grill, pizza, home cooked foods, and hand tossed salads, just to name a few. You can also eat at McGlynns, a sandwich/grill restaurant on campus. Along with the options on St. Bens campus, Bennies can also eat at the Refectory or Sexton on the St. Johns campus.

The food at St. Ben's is awesome. It's buffet style and there are so many options each and every day.
