College of Saint Benedict Top Questions

I wish I would have known about the lines for the buses. Since we have two campuses, there can be a line to get on the bus, but it's normally not too bad.

One thing I wished I have known about College of Saint Benedict is about the amazing study abroad programs that have here. I knew little about the study abroad programs until I got to CSB. They have programs all over the world, including, Japan, China, Australia, Spain, London, and much more. Students get the chance to learn in a very different environment and with the native students. This expands their knowledge of the world. CSB’s study abroad program is great.

I wish that I would have been more informed about the core classes that are needed for graduation.

I wish I had known that coming from a rural community that is not close to any major cities or cultural centers would be a huge detriment to successfully completing my original major, which was Music. I also wish I had known just how many people in this world are dishonest and unethical.

I wish I knew how much responsibility it was to live on your own, and manage time more effectively. College isn't just about the parties like you see on t.v.

There is nothing else I would have liked to have known. The school was very attentive to all incoming freshman and let us know exactly what to expect. They helped us transition very well. There is nothing that could've been done better.

I'm not sure I can think of anything.

One thing I wished I had known before coming to school was that you cannot base your college experience on the first few weeks. I actually did not like St. Ben's the first week or two my freshman year. I was somewhat dejected that it wasn't what I thought it would be like, but once I found my niche and got the hang of things, it turned out the be the perfect fit. I love it!
