What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

maria

I would say not having food that tastes good and is cheap.

Kimberly

The location. If I lived next door it would be perfect, but because I ride my bike and I live in the desert, its hot and I get to campus a little sweaty. Other than that, I really like my school.

Aaron

THe food choices are dismal, as well as in certian locations around the campus - the wifi loses its signal.

Wendy

It is very competitive enrolling for classes. Many times I have had to rearrange my whole schedule three or four times because the classes fill up so fast. They are very lenient about the suspension on students who withdrawl, and a lot of my classes end up empty by the end, which is disapointing because there are students who really wanted to be there. Also a lot of the students are well to do here and when they are not paying for school they dont mind dropping.

Megen

There are multiple campuses in the Las Vegas valley for my school but only one has the kitchens necessary for me to complete my Baking and Pastry Arts degree. It is extremely far away and it would be much nicer if they had kitchens on their other campuses as well.

shannon

The most frustrating thing about this school is that the professors are not geared toward seeing the student succeed. In the nursing program it is cut throat. The process to get registered and into the program is disorganized. The professionalism is not what I have learned from other colleges I have attended in the past. Overall, I would not choose this school again if I had a choice.

Alyssa

I think the most frustrating thing about my school is there are three campuses, but not all classes are offered at each campus.

Alondra

The most frustrating thing about my school, is the hours and days they have on campus classes available to me, only because UI have three small children and a full time job. But I make it work with online courses. It is a great way to start my education to complete my goal.

lani

figuring out how to do all the enrollment paperwork on your own

Nicole

The most frustrating thing about my school is the parking. Some days I drive around for over fifteen minutes looking for a parking spot and barely make it to class on time. Half the time I find a parking spot it is so far away from my class that I feel like I am walking forever! This semester I hear they are even closing down a parking area for construction. I might as well leave an extra hour to get "dibs" on a good spot!

Joslin

The most frustrating thing about my school would have to be the parking! Parking can take up to a whole hour. The teachers, on the other hand, are helpful and many try to host additional study availibility sessions.

Yurisma

Community college classes is "first come, first serve." That never works out for me but I was able to be one of the students receiving the classes I need to take.

Cassandra

That classes are too full to register for them and then everyone drops their classes 3 weeks into the course which prevents me from being in that class and class sizes to start packed and end up with ten students.

Cherisse

There's not much communication on important events, like registering for next semester was never announced or posted on the Web Site.

Michelle

I really don't have anything to complain about my school. It saddens me that my school is sometimes described as 'ghetto.'
