Where is the best place to get work done on campus?

Samuel

For me, the best place to get work done is in my dorm room. Everyone talks about how great Swem Library is, but for the most part, it is a better place to socialize than to actually study. If you need to do a research paper however, the library is a necessity. For studying, many people go to the Business School and School of Education. I suggest that you find the place you like studying best early in the semester, so you are comfortable studying in that place for the rest of the semester.

There are a couple of hidden study spots, including the student activities room in the upper level of the campus center. Barnes and Noble is also great. It provides a change of scenery, and you aren't as likely to run into friends every five seconds when trying to churn out that 10-pager! The computer room in Sadler is not a bad spot either.
