There are several New Mexico tuition savings programs. For example, the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) allows students to receive in-state tuition at one out of 15 Western states. New Mexico's students have saved about $96 million out-of-state tuition since 1988. Students saved $9.9 million in 2018-2019! Other participating states are Arizona and Colorado.
