I like it a lot; the professors are nice, the college is clean and maintained, the classes are challenging, and it's the perfect school for someone wanting to start out or finish up their classes. It's also extremely affordable, keeping me on track to hopefully being debt-free once I graduate.

Collin County Community College is an overall good school to attend. I would highly recommend for students coming straight out of high and unsure of where they would like to go for a post secondary education. The district has several campuses and each campus has different disciplines it applies to.

This is a good starter for college, the classrooms are small, which makes it easier to interact with the professors. On the other hand, There is only self-motivation, the college is no true help to keep a student on their chosen career path. Furthermore, the staff is known for giving wrongful information, that has confused many students, extending their stay at Collin College, instead of transferring.

My overall opinion on Collin is that it's a great starter for anyone starting college. It's a great neighborhood school with UTD which makes it easier to transfer credits. Most classes here are transferable credits so it saves you some money and time. Faculty here are nice and help you with any confusion like financial aid, admission process, and advising. If you're looking for a nice community college that's a bang for your buck then Collin County is a great place to begin that journey. Go Cougars!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

A wonderful college that prepares you for a university if you choose to. Most of the professors are geared to help in more ways than one. The professors are passionate, some can relate, are willing to help outside of office hours. The admissions and advising staff are also amazing and take the time to go step by step in becoming a great student.

I love the professors and I love how organized it is, I hate when professors are unorganized but they usually keep things up to date and give reminds weeks before things will be due, the campus is very pretty and the people are nice. The library is extremely calming for people like me who can't do a lot of school work at home. People keep to themselves and it's a great environment.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

It's a good school to go to educationally. The ratio between teacher to student is good, because it's little so you get more attention when you need help. however there is zero school spirit, there are a couple of clubs but that doesn't really reflect the school spirit. lastly, you don't really make good friends because its a come and go experience and the ages vary greatly it's hard to create memorable relationships with people.

Collin Community College is a college that is striving to be on the same level as 4 year universities. It is very well funded and continues to grow year by year. As a nursing school applicant, I was informed that Collin Nursing School has received recognition on the level of prestigious BSN programs in Texas- despite its community college status. A BSN program at Collin is in the works and they are building a new campus as well. They continue to grow and as they grow, they don't leave students behind.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Collin College is a good community college to get your basics done before going to a University and starting your career. Going to this school allows you to save money, and not have to deal with really tuition rates. Collin College classrooms are about the same size as high school classrooms are so you get more one on one with the teachers.
