What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Betty

If I had to pick one thing to be the worst thing about my school it would be the lack of classes offered online when I need them. I am currently enrolled in the Business Managment degree program and prefer to take online classes. They only offer 1 to 2 classes per sememster online and that means I may be waiting awhile or have to juggle my work schedule in order to take the classes I need. I am not sure if this is due to a lack of interest or a lack of staff.

Catherine

When considering the worst thing about my school, my mind drifts to academic advising. We are not assigned advisors at our school, and the ones that are available do not know what they are doing if you are applying to transfer anywhere outside of the state. They just are unknowledgeable on most things pertaining to advising. The school is currently working to improve this, but it is unfortunate for current students.

john

There are very long lines beginning and end of each semester. There isnt enough front staff to support the amount of students.

Jade

It is so boring, it doesn't give off the college feel. They don't make extracurricular activities just as important as everything else.

Ashley

I would say there there is not anything bad about my school, but since it is a community college I feel that it is time for me to leave and go to a university.

Lauren

I do not consider anything at my school could be described as a "worst thing", there is only growth and improvement opprtunities, which I think would be offering the Bachelor's Degree to a wider variety of majors. My reasoning is that this school already has several wonderful qualities, including it's affordability and the fact that it has such a high acceptance rate, so why not keep the two going strong and offer a four-year degree plan that can offer inclusion to all the student body.

Kenneth

I consider the worst thing about my school the lack of school spirit. I know we are not a huge Division 1 school with sports teams, fraternities, and sororities, but most students cannot even identify our mascot. We have a basketball team, as well as various other athletic teams and no one attends games or pep rallies. I think we need to improve this drastically, and be proud of being Collin College Cougars!

Mitchell

The worst thing about my school would be the layout of the school, it looks and feels like a highschool where all the class rooms are in one giant building. Where as the school I went to before called John Brown University was layed out like an actual college campus with seperate buildings for different majors.

Myra

I don't really have a complaint about my school.

Lauryn

I do not like the way in which you are required to earn a math credit. The remedial classes are a huge hassel and you end up paying for three classes to earn one credit.

Rachael

I believe the worst thing about my school would be that , there are alot of high school graduates that go there after they graduate. It doesnt feel like a real college, it feels like im back in high school. You walk in to the college and there are people gooving off and it feels like no one is taking college seriously.

Enope

that it cost to much to get in to and to keep paying.
