Colorado Christain University has a strong commitment to assiting adults returning to school. Very helpful with admission process and classes dedicted to the working adult.
Colorado Christian University does a great job of making students fill welcome and helping and encouraging them to be involved on campus. Those who work for Residence Life (RAs, RDs, ARDs, etc.) are very passionate about helping every resident to adapt and connect to the college lifestyle. The community aspect is defenitely the best part of attending CCU for me. Since it is a fairly small college, most people are very friendly and close. Living with a group of men and women who are my age and are pursuing similar goals helps me stay focused and determined.
The best characteristic of Luther College is definitely the faculty. The majority of the professors I have had are very helpful with any questions or concerns the students have whether it is with academics or everyday life. Unlike at some larger schools, every course is taught by a professor and they actually try to get to know all of their students.
When I tell my friends my story, I tell them to never give up on getting an education that you are passionate about and proud of. When I was diagnosed with cancer as a college sophomore in 2004, I promised myself that it would not prevent me from getting my degree and making a difference in the world. After 6 years of active cancer treatments, I still work my hardest to have a GPA above 3.5 and learn all I can about Psychology.
CCU is a school where you do not just grow intectually, but spiritually and emotionally. The teachers and friends you meet along the way are incredible.
I brag about my teachers and the opportunities that come from being a student there. There is so many ways to get involved on or off campus and there are so many good opportunities that have come my way since I decided to go here. I also brag about the friends that I've made.
The community is what most often gets brought up in conversation about CCU. There is so much opportunity to get involved in just about anything you're interested in from Trash Club to Skiiers and Snowboarders for Christ. There's a place for everyone to get involved here, you just have to be open to it.
Whenever I tell people about my school, I always tell them about the Bible classes and chapel. You learn so much more about your own faith through Bible classes and during worship chapel, one is truly uplifted and brought closer to God. It's truly amazing all that God does on this campus. He is wonderful!
When I tell my friends about my school, I brag about the community. My highschool had basically no community; but Colorado Christian University has a great community. The people there are very welcoming, and friendly, even to those they have not met. The profecors truely care about about their students and want to meet them. I enjoy the community because it provides an exellent place to evangilise with other Christians and discuss theological matters. Coloardo Christian University's community makes living on campus feel like home. It is for these reasons I brag about the community at Colorado Christian University.
