What is the stereotype of students at your school?

That everyone is really outdoorsy and love the mountains. Also that were really friendly and it's easy to make friends here.

In general, we are mostly a relaxed and laid back group.

CSU is a group of active individuals, active in recreational sports, personal well being and are not considered for their strong individualistic nature. These students are participants, not observers as reflected in attendance for some of the entertainment, athletics and performance events around CSU. CSU is institution that values experiential learning and real-world application of curricular yet devalues the emphasis of traditional teaching and learning.

Im not sure how to answer this question to be honest. I find this campus to be much like any campus across the nation. We tend to be a bit more active and outdoorsy, what with the mountains in our back yard...kinda. A big part of why students choose this school is because of the outdoor recreation. We boast ourselves on great academics diversity and knowlegable proffesors.

We have been really lucky in that there is really no one stereotype that is strapped onto CSU students. We are diverse enough to have a little bit of everything including the stereotypical greek system, jocks, and of course skiers and snowboarders.

I would say that one of the sterotypes of CSU is that since it used to be prodominetly an agriculture school that a lot of farmers and for lack of a better work: hicks go here.

CSU is known as being a farm school, full of agricultural kids. It is also known for being predominantly white. CSU is known for being a great school for Veterinary Medicine, Inefectious Disease, Engineering, Arts, and for it's education program.
