I love this college because everybody here treats me like family, but not only that we all communicate to each other, and not only that we are one big happy family. No matter if you are friends with each other or not, everybody gets along perfectly normal and that is basically what matters. All of the teachers are always there to help you raise up your grades if you are struggling and they always give you more time if you ask for it. You can even become friends with the teachers if they notice you work hard.
I absolutely love it...professors are always accessible, and the advisors are great at answering questions. Financial aid and scholarship assistance are good at providing opportunities. CSU-Pueblo is a wonderful educational asset to the state of Colorado.
I think it is a good school with a lot of opportunities. I feel like I can learn in a safe environment and get help when needed. Also there is a wide variety of people that make the experience more interesting. Overall it is a great place to learn and have fun.
Considering I am a returning student and alumnus, I feel the school is really great. I am pleased that I got accepted back to the school to complete my Master's. The teachers are great. They keep you well informed about current events. I love the small class size. I love my school. Even when, I continue on for more advanced degrees. I will remember CSU-Pueblo giving me a lot of encouragement. The teachers work with students and do not allow them to fail.

Dear me, Do not fear. That is the greatest piece of advice I can give to you. Do not be afraid of making new friends. There are some hard things ahead. Forgive. It's easier than being angry. You have an amazing support system so use it. There are so many opportunities. Go to the plays, the pep-assemblies, and the football games, they are all worth it. Have fun! This time in your life is when you will be most carefree. You already know this, but you are right about the newspaper. Being Editor-in-Chief is hard but it is so amazing. Do not be afraid of finding out what you love. Everything will work out perfectly. Do not be afraid to make mistakes. In the end you will find that those mistakes make you a stronger person. Be fearless. Love, Your future self
The high acceptance level. There are a lot of students here who do not deserve to be in college and only want to party. They come to the school as freshmen, fail and don't come back.
Either helpful or not. Generally helpful to some extent.
The best thing is the professors. All of the professors show how much they care about their students and their education. They love to help their students, and will help in any way they possibly can. I can tell that they love to see students succeed.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that no one who actually lives in pueblo views it as being worth their time. Which is not the case because its great school to go to.
Anyone looking for a four year college could attend and enjoy CSU- Pueblo. There are many majors to choose from and the universtiy is all adout the student. Along with many majors, the clubs are endless and there is always something going on around campus. All the staff is very well rounded and are about helping you succeed and build a better life. On campuss living is available, new dorms are being built along with a new libuary!
When I tell people about CSU-Pueblo, I love to tell them about the many programs that they offer and that all the staff are excellent. I they treat you like a real person, not just a number and they make time for you to go as a student.
The thing i consider most unique at CSU-P is how the students and alumni are so proud of Pueblo and the school. When you go to a big campus, the students usually go there for the environment or 1 or 2 exceptional programs, but at Pueblo you have people that care so much for the university, they are willing to go the extra mile to try and improve something. I am originally from Colorado Springs and I am proud to say I am from there, just as people born and raised at Pueblo are.
Students who want to save money and get a decent education.
The school has fantastic Political Science professors. They are exceptional.
the poor financial aid service
CSU Pueblo is a smaller school but it is quickly becoming bigger and more successful by building new dormitory buildings, advertising their division two sports, and excelling in academic education.
It is a small campus, but it gives the students a better opportunity to succeed by knowing professors well. The school in inexpensive, but the it has the student activities and academic opportunities comparable to those of a bigger school. Most of our freshmen live on campus, giving us a good community feel.
Most of my professors know me by name. They know where I am struggling and it is easy to talk to them about missing class for athletics. Even in lecture classes the professors are good at encouraging class participation and discussion. I am in the Mass Communications Dept. and am really enjoy my major classes. The academic requirements are pretty reasonable. The education here is very hands on and gives students real life skills that will transfer well into the workplace.
There is always something to do on campus. Our office of student activities brings in professional comedians and musicians. There is also a movie viewing on a big projector every week. It depends on the hall, but student on my floor leave there dorm doors wide open, encouraging friends to walk in. Our hall is always active, playing cards, talking or watching TV. I met my closest friends by attending mixers at the beginning of the year put on by the Office of Student Activities. Our campus has 2 fraternities and one sorority; we are working on bringing in more of a Greek life. On the weekends students go to sporting events, a local club, or friend’s houses and apartments for social entertainment.
The biggest stereotype that I’ve heard about the students here is that they are all from Pueblo.
I think that the campus size at CSU-Pueblo is just right. I like being able to walk anywhere on campus in less than 15 minutes. A lot of people where I come from didn't know that there was a CSU campus in Pueblo, but I hope that by my coming here they come check it out. I live in the residence halls and most of my friend all live in the same building. Sporting events are free and there is usually a good student turn out.
