My advice to all is to take into consideration the outcomes of becoming a college student at a particular college. First and foremost, both parents and students must come to agreements to where he or she wants the child to attend, applying for scholarships, learning the campus history and attending campus orientations. Visiting the school is the best thing to do so the child and the parents will have the feel of the campus and the life it represents as one makes that important visit. Making the most of the college experience, one has to try studying abroad, joining clubs, doing community services and socializing with other ethnic groups. Doing good in every class and atleast maintaining a 2.5-3.5 GPA will also make college experience fun, but you must always be yourself and alert.
The best thing about CSU-P is that the advisors are on your tail everyday of your college life. They want to see the students succeed and become somebody out there in the future. They dislike the term "I can't do it and I firmly give up". The other best thing about CSU-P is that racial slurs and or discrimination is unacceptable, everybody gets along with everyone and that keeps CSU-P environment very warm and welcoming.
Anybody can attend CSU-P, no matter who you are poor, rich and or disable you can always apply and they will accept your application. There are various ethnic groups that attend CSU-P; Nepalese, Russian, French, Nigerians, Congolese, Korea, China, Japan, Iran, India, Mexico, Spain and many more. Student exchange is very big at CSU-P and we welcome all that are accepted. GO CSU-P!!
