Where is the best place to get work done on campus?

Rachael

I do most of my work in my apartment, but Millennium park is just a short walk away and I find it an inspiring place to work.

Either in the library, coffee shops, or the computer labs in certain buildings. Some work has to be done in designated areas though such as sewing or photo printing because certain equipment is needed.

If I'm attempting to get school work done during a break on campus, I always head to the library (624 S. Michigan Ave.) Consistent wifi and a quiet environment make it a great place to study or write a paper. As a designer, the A+D Mac Lab (9th floor of 623 S. Wabash Ave) is wonderful to complete work for my major-specific classes. You have access to the latest design software and printing services for a small fee. Finally, if I'm working on club projects, the Loft (916 S. Wabash Ave, 4th Floor) can't be beat. Student organizations can reserve a workstation with a computer and a locker. Recognized clubs have access to free printing and can reserve the space for meetings and events.
