This semester is my first semester at Columbus State Community College and I have to say that I absolutely love it. The campus feels so fun and happy. There are always students out and about talking, playing music, or kicking a soccer ball in the main area of the campus which makes me feel great when I arrive. I feel that I have really adjusted well to college life. The main three things that I love about Columbus State are the classes, my classmates, and the delicious food. I started at Columbus State because of its affordable rates and I didn't know that I would end up loving it as much as I do. Currently, I am taking my pre requisite courses so that I can then transfer to Mount Carmel College of Nursing. I love that Columbus State offers great, affordable classes where the professors really show that they care about you and your success. They make sure that you really understand what is being taught and always give the necessary feedback to help you improve even more. We are encouraged to interact and work with students around us which not only helps us learn but also helps us to make new friends. The student interaction is always positive, I always see students laughing, having fun and working hard together. Going from an immature, negative high school environment to a happy, friendly environment makes the college experience even better for me. Another amazing part of Columbus State is the food! There are varieties of food ranging from pizza to grilled chicken to burritos and honestly it all tastes delicious. There is a very nice cafeteria, a taco truck, a Subway, and many areas available full of snacks. The food is a great benefit of coming to college and I doubt any school's could compare to ours just because its that good. If I had to say anything negative about Columbus State it would be about the crime in the parking lots. Over this semester there have been at least three robberies in the parking lots which makes myself and other students feel a bit unsafe. However, since these events have happened there are more security guards in the parking lots which makes it feel a bit safer. I absolutely love Columbus State Community College and would recommend it to anyone. A diverse, fun-loving, successful college for anyone to come and be successful.

As a community college Columbus State is a great place. The campus is easy to navigate and classrooms a breeze to find. I've always felt welcomed to seek out my professors during office hours if I needed them and email communication has always been responded to promptly by my professors. As a part time student it's a great place to go, evening classes almost always fit into my day/work schedule and parking for evening classes has never been an issue.

I think very highly of Columbus State as a whole. I’ve had amazing professors, advisors, and attending CSCC has taught me so much invaluable information that I will be forever appreciative of. The instructors I’ve had have always been very interactive and show strong care for their students and their future well being as well as doing everything they can to prepare us for our career field. Campus itself is always clean and safe. It even has its own police station in the school. The advisors I have spoken with were always very open to help me with anything I needed from scheduling, to financial aid. I am expecting to graduate with my associates degree within just a couple of weeks from writing this paper and honestly couldn't be happier with my experience while attending. It is relatively affordable, well taken care of, with excellent staff and instructors who are all very caring and supportive. My biggest gain from being there, I would say, is all of the networking and contacts I have mad along with the very helpful tips and guidance I have received from teachers and peers. Columbus state does an excellent job of encouraging positive peer interactions through open meets and cooperative class work. This has allowed me to make several acquaintances and friends who work in my field and are open to tips and collaboration on projects and work. Overall I would give Columbus State Community College five out of five starts and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

I think Columbus State is best when it comes to the prices and transferable classes nearly to every other institution.I also love the way technology is updated and is well maintained as well as organization and cleanliness. Parking is the only issue when one wants to park near the main building.

A decent sized campus that isn't too big or small. The professors care about your success and will usually go out of their way to make sure that you understand the material. It is a pretty good 2-year school, they also provide well defined stepping stones to get you to the next level if you desire it.

My overall opinion of Columbus State Community College is it was a great experience all together. I attended Columbus State directly after high school. I didn't have any problems with this college other than financial issues. I'm currently attending this college again part time while also going to Ashland to get my bachelors in Early Childhood education. The class size at Columbus state is awesome. You can ask questions and get the help you need right away. I attend this college for four years and have had no problems with professors or contacting them with questions. I would recommend this school for students who are looking to spend less money of college. It's very affordable! The one thing I did get scared about it when I had night classes. Just make sure you always walk with someone to your car after class. Just to be safe. Other than that it's not a bad school at all. I would attend it for my bachelors if they had that option. (:
