I like Columbus State Community College overall. It is a good school, good professors, and easy courses for the most part. You can get anywhere on campus in like a 5-10 minute walk. I will definitely be continuing to take courses here and graduate in the next few years

I think it is a really academically sound solid community college and it is reflected in the amount of student who attend. The quality of teaching is very high, and the class sizes are relatively small, facilitating a better learning atmosphere. The staff and student are very friendly, and I always feel safe on campus. I like it a lot.

Good school to start out at. They have several transfer agreements all across Ohio which can be a great way to save money. The campus is super diverse and there are lots of great people to meet. The professors are dedicated and the campus is located in downtown Columbus with lots of stuff to do.

It is a wonderful place to get your associates degree and then transfer to another college for way less money. The professors are great and really seem to care about you and your success as a student. I attend the Dublin Center and it is extremely convenient for me because of where I live.

At first, I was desperate to go out of state for college. I was angry, I didn’t care for the atmosphere at times and I felt that there was no purpose for me to be in Ohio. I ultimately decided to stay home and attend Columbus State Community College because I wanted to find a renewed sense of purpose in my life and I am glad that I did. Columbus State has given me a clear sense of direction in my ambitions in life and I have grown more closer than ever to Ohio. Thank you!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

This semester is my first semester at Columbus State Community College and I have to say that I absolutely love it. The campus feels so fun and happy. There are always students out and about talking, playing music, or kicking a soccer ball in the main area of the campus which makes me feel great when I arrive. I feel that I have really adjusted well to college life. The main three things that I love about Columbus State are the classes, my classmates, and the delicious food. I started at Columbus State because of its affordable rates and I didn't know that I would end up loving it as much as I do. Currently, I am taking my pre requisite courses so that I can then transfer to Mount Carmel College of Nursing. I love that Columbus State offers great, affordable classes where the professors really show that they care about you and your success. They make sure that you really understand what is being taught and always give the necessary feedback to help you improve even more. We are encouraged to interact and work with students around us which not only helps us learn but also helps us to make new friends. The student interaction is always positive, I always see students laughing, having fun and working hard together. Going from an immature, negative high school environment to a happy, friendly environment makes the college experience even better for me. Another amazing part of Columbus State is the food! There are varieties of food ranging from pizza to grilled chicken to burritos and honestly it all tastes delicious. There is a very nice cafeteria, a taco truck, a Subway, and many areas available full of snacks. The food is a great benefit of coming to college and I doubt any school's could compare to ours just because its that good. If I had to say anything negative about Columbus State it would be about the crime in the parking lots. Over this semester there have been at least three robberies in the parking lots which makes myself and other students feel a bit unsafe. However, since these events have happened there are more security guards in the parking lots which makes it feel a bit safer. I absolutely love Columbus State Community College and would recommend it to anyone. A diverse, fun-loving, successful college for anyone to come and be successful.

As a community college Columbus State is a great place. The campus is easy to navigate and classrooms a breeze to find. I've always felt welcomed to seek out my professors during office hours if I needed them and email communication has always been responded to promptly by my professors. As a part time student it's a great place to go, evening classes almost always fit into my day/work schedule and parking for evening classes has never been an issue.
