I wish I would have known that I would absolutely hate it, and want to transfer. I wish I would have known to follow my own dreams and wants instead of the peoples around me. I wish I would have known to be strong and detirmined to find money and go to the college I really wanted to go to in the first place. I wish I would have known to apply to South Carolina University and go no matter what obstacles I faced!
I wish that the High School that I went to had spent more time on how to continue learning beyond High School rather then making sure we could pass tests. Learning for college is much more than just memorizing for tests although not difficult once you understand the process.
I wish i would have know that they are as unorganized and as hard to get along with as they are.
I wish i had known that college was not like high school at all. College is so much more relaxed for me then high school was.
Nothing. I enjoy new experiences and learning as I go along.
I wish I had know how much money it costs to be a student, and how to obtain that money. I know there is help out there, but I can never seem to find it.
I wish knew two important things Before I went to the Community College of Allegheny. The first thing being financal aide, I dont recieve any grants so I always have to take a loan out. I work part-time at a daycare center that is only open five days a week so often I don't work more than thirty hours a week. Basically although I have a job I am still unable to pay for school. Secondaly I wish i knew that you cannot claim yourself as an independent on your financal aid form until you are 24 old.
