I like the college and I think it educates its students well. I am extremely blessed in that I am getting almost a full ride at the college and even regular tuition is very affordable. It is very good for the price that is paid. I think there are many opportunities for many as the acceptance rate is %100 and there is a very accepting and diverse student/teacher body.
I am an Hispanic student that right now I am improving my English which will help me finish my courses that I have from my country, I really want to finish my career, because I want to demonstrate my daughter that everything is possible in this life. I think they are a great center of education, they provide the assistant that us as students need, teachers advise us in how to improve each day or knowledge, I am really happy to be part of this College, and I would like to finish my firsts years of college in this Education Center
I attended CCRI for a short time, and worked on campus. My supervisor was an intelligent man and my coworkers were all smart and fairly easy to get along with. The school is extremely diverse with people from all classes, ages, and races, and plenty of people are bilingual. That being said, it IS a community college and is not very involved with students outside of classes and work-study. The biology and nursing courses are very difficult, and require hard work and dedication, as they should. Some teachers in various subjects are sub-par, but the good ones are memorable and will make plenty of time to help you.
Grate teacher. Classes are easy to apply for and times of classes are wide ranging

If i would go back in time in tell myself about college is that you need to stay focus and just because your senior don't get distracted. Also i would told myself that college is nothing like high school they don't wait on you to turn your work in and i would have told myself about the note card system and how it helps you study. I would also encourage myself to never give up and to keep pushing yourself to the end. Last but not least i would have told myself to get a job now and start to save your money now so when you need money for college you will have some save so you won't have to go get loans to help pay for college.
The Community College of Rhode Island serves as a genuine catalyst for deep change in one's life. Anyone, regardless of their circumstance, may enter CCRI and begin a layered and rewarding journey toward formal education. That very education turns single mothers into positive examples for their children, high school drop-outs into people with focus, and places every day Rhode Islanders one step closer to a life of their choosing. In short, CCRI can turn dreams into goals- it has for me!
Half of the classes I want to take are not transferrable to other local colleges or universities. So the fact that most student attend CCRI to do their general requirements, CCRI should work more alongside other colleges to assure students that the money they pay for their college classes isn't useless.
The Community College of Rhode Island is a good fit for anyone who is seeking a life worthy of their unutilized promise. People with a clear goals can thrive in a place that offers structured paths to realize them. Likewise, people who simply persue knowledge for its own sake may also find themselves excited with a newly discovered subject. With four campuses statewide, there is no excuse why ANYONE should not think of attending CCRI.
My school is best known for helping students chieve their goals in an easier and more affordable way. Students at my school get the chance to be anything they want, go to any school they wish and they also get the chance to pay less and get financial assistance.
I brag most about how even though I'm going to a community college and I am paying the community college tuition I have professors who teach at the university level. I have professors who are great at their job and treat CCRI like a university but, are able to offer more help to each individual student because they teach a small community college class instead of a hall full of students.
My school is a culturally diverse, student friendly enviornment where you are pushed to do better and better every day.
It's cheaper due to being a community college.
Quite honestly I am completely satisfied with ccri. The staff are extremely helpful, the professors help the student and are easy to appraoch, all the students are friendly, and the layout if the school itself was easy to learn.
What is so nice about a Community College is that even though you are older you do not feel uncomfortable there. I am a mother of two children who works full time and decided to go back to school for Nursing. The location is convenient as well as the class schedules. They also offer online classes for those who find it difficult to physically attend school. In my opinion, CCRI is perfect for anyone who is looking to complete a degree within two years and gain the proper knowledge needed for your career choice!
Diverse. There are some students who are fresh out of high school and still not sure what to do with their lives. Then there are the students, like me, who work full time to support them selves who are constantly juggling the two. Then theres the students who are older that are coming back to continue their education.
Sometimes it is hard to get into classes, not enough options for scheduling are allowed.
