Overall, very good school. The class sizes are generally very small, and the professors are almost always readily available to answer any questions you might have. They seem to really care about you as a person and not just a student, with some professors giving out their personal cell numbers in case you need to get a hold of them.

Akissi - 09/08/2020

It's an amazing school with kind people that are really there to help you reach your goal.

I love the Midwestern atmosphere at Concordia! It is homey and always makes me feel welcome and safe. Combined with their amazing academics this is truly a unique place. What allows for this comfortable but challenging space is truly the faculty. They are the superheroes of the modern world and it is a privilege to learn from them.

Concordia College is a lovely campus full of lovely people. Everyone from the students to the staff and faculty are bright, warm, and welcoming. The classes are stimulating, and the liberal arts ideology of the college encourages exploration and experimentation in fields beyond your own. Besides people and classes, the extracurricular activities are extraordinary. There is an incredible variety of student organizations and clubs to join, as well as the college's accomplished sports teams and renowned music program. On a more technical note, Concordia's facilities and campus are also top notch. I for one am beyond impressed with the Frances Frazier Comstock Theater, where the theater program puts on splendid productions, and with how beautiful the campus is. Finally, the neighborhood is quite safe and Concordia's Public Safety officers are always available should something fishy occur.

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Concordia College at Moorhead is 65%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I went back in time to myself as a high school senior, I would tell myself to be prepared. In high school, I didn't take my school work as seriously as I should have and I procrastinated a lot. I would tell myself to not procrastinate as much and work on homework ahead of time. I would also tell myself to take the music theory class that my high school offered. If i had taken that music theory class, then maybe I would still be persuing my career as a musician instead of English writing. Another thing I would tell myself is to manage my time better between homework and a social life along with other aspects of academic life.

  13. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The most frustrating thing about my school is the fact that many professors believe their class is THE most important class, and they don't take into account all of the work that students have to do for other classes. There is a huge homework load here, and sometimes the professors don't understand all that we have to do. It is also very frustrating when you have tests/papers/projects in almost all of your classes all due in the same week. That gets to be a lot of work and can be overwhelming.
