A kind of person who can't deal with cold weather!
A person who is not open to the idea of lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender people probably shouldn't come here--there's a very strong LGBT community that has support nearly campus-wide, and tolerance of those who do not tolerate LGBT people is likely low. Additionally, a person that is close-minded to other ways of life, whether those be religion, politics, or anything else, shouldn't come here. It's a tolerant school, and being unable to have that in common with others is likely detrimental.
Any person that doesn't value a diverse, ethnically rich school with a varied age range of students
Anyone looking for a party school.
Those who don't care about learning or helping others.
Someone who is looking for a lot of binge drinking or frat/sorority activites. Its not that kind of college.
Someone who is not willing to put in the work. It's a wonderful social environment, but if you are not going to put in the academic effort, you will not fit in. Also, people who don't have multiple interests or care about the surrounding world -- ie: environment, other cultures, current issues, political issues, religious tolerance, etc.
one who is lazy and not self motivated
If you need to feel like there are thousands of people around you. Concordia is very tight and very friendly.
Any kind of person who is interested in a liberal arts education in a welcoming environment that tries to instill values of community involvement, vocation, faith, and academic advancement in its students.
...
Anyone who would not enjoy a small campus, rigorous coursework, and a student population that is primarly caucasion, wealthy, and female.
There is no type of person out there that should not attend this school. Concordia College is a very welcoming school and the students and faculty here try to make everyone feel at home. It is a close-knit group of people who truly care about each other. I think anyone would be comfortable going here no matter what race they are, what religion they follow, what activities they are involved in or what major they are interested in. This is a school for everyone.
