I wish I knew that financial aid would not cover my education after I got married. Since this school is 26,000 a year, and I am hardly getting any aid or grants, I wish I stood by my previous community college route and then finished my bachelor's online.
It would be hard to schedule classes around other things such as work.
I wish I had known how expensive textbooks from the campus bookstore were. I had never before had to purchase textbooks for school and since I am the first child in my family to attend a four year college, we had not a clue about purchasing books online. My schedule was comprised of eighteen credits and required me to purchase about twenty books. The amount of money that we spent in the campus bookstore was sickening. This semester I purchased half of my books online and the other half from the dreaded campus bookstore.
THAT THE FACULTY ARE SUCH NICE PEOPLE WHO WANTS EVERYONE ACCEPTED INTO THE SCHOOL TO SUCCEED.
