We The EAGLES. I bleed Blue and Gold, and i'm proud to say it. With over 31 majors to choose from ,academics here is taken very serious, especially if you want to stay on campus or join a club. I love that because it keeps me grounded when it comes to my schoolwork. I joined a step team and without good grades, I wouldn't be allowed to step. On top of that, Coppin State is one of the safest campuses in Maryland overall and with a mall right across the street, i'm rarely bored. Now, even though people are all about academics, so am I. I like to have fun too. So the fact that there are parties every weekend from lit university to simple house parties, makes me happy. Coppin has a number of sports so when its a boring weekday or I have nothing to do on Saturday morning, there would be a basketball, football, or volleyball games which engender happiness to everyone, especially on the weekdays. So, overall I think the school is great even though the food can be a lot better. Its a cheap so school and I wouldn't change my school for nothing.
Coppin State University is a great school. It has some more work to do but overall it’s a great place to further your education. In my opinion I would like to have better choices of food in the cafe. I also think there should be a little bit more security because I have some night classes and I don’t really feel safe walking back to my room sometimes. The dorm rooms are pretty much ok but I would like for it to be cleaner. Also the laundry room needs some work. Firstly the washing machines are always dirty and secondly, it would be a big weight off of our shoulders if washing was free or included in our tuition so that way we wouldn’t have to worry about if we will have enough money to do laundry. Coppin is still a wonderful school but We would love to see some more changes around the campus.
My overall experience at Coppin State University is pretty good. I enjoy the campus, classes and professors. I feel like some of my classes are challenging and that is good for me because it is teaching me discipline. I also feel like Coppin is what you make it. You have to get out of the school what it is has to offer to your special needs. However, if you are looking for a small school where everyone knows everyone or at least about everyone than this may be the school for you. But, one thing to remember is that this college at the end of the day so you need to come prepared to learn and always present with your best self.
My overall opinion of Coppin State University is a strong and productive school i believe the students that attended Coppin State University made it in life and are now working in lawyer offices, hospitals, schools, police facilities and etc. This is why i think Coppin State University is a strong and productive school.

If I could go back to my senior year in high school I wouldn't change anything because I felt like my senior year was my best year. I was on the principal honor roll the whole year. I was also the manager of Jr. Varsity football team, indoor and outdoor track. I was also the star player on the varsity girls badmiton team. I really wish I could go back to the beginning of my high school experience so I could do as good as I did my senior year.
I wish i would have been more aware of my surroundings because it is not in the best neighborhood. Sometimes it can be hard to get on campus housing. So my advice is not to procrastinate with any of the paper work you have to turn in.
I don’t believe in a “worst” situation. I believe that anything is possible and everything happens for a reason. I say this because everyone puts themselves in situations, but never think about the end result or the consequences later on down the line. So, I can proudly say that I have never experienced a “worst” situation at my university because I think about my consequences.
I brag to my friends about the new projects that Coppin are doing with building new buildings and new programs this school has come a long way and I am very proud to be a student here.
Coppin is a school, which will take the step to help any student, but is made to look bad.
My classmates are industrious, respectful, disciplined, and loyal to the school authority and their programs.
My school is best known for its backetball team, and its nursing program as well.
The best thing about my school is that it is a small campus, equiped with all the tools i need to succeed. I love the convenience of everything I need (dorm, classes, recreation, dinning etc.) being in close proximity, and I love my choice to attend Coppin State University.
A person attending this school would be great for traditional and non traditional college students. Coppin State University not only are supportive to thier struggling students but are working to rebuild thier community as well. There is room for a student who wants to start new organization and get recognition because although there are clubs and organizations we have room for plenty more. Whether your are 35 or 17 this school will be a good fit for you.
The kind of person that shouldn't attend this school is a non-ambitious person who does not wants to make a good career in his or her lifetime. This is a person who actually does not wants to achieve academic excellence and knowledge through reading, writing and learning. Any person who chooses not receive academic discipline shouldn't attend this coppin state University.
I must say my school is very unique in its own way; for every major progam that the school offers to the students, internships are offered to the students so they can have hands on experience before graduation. The professors and course advisors are always willing to lend a hand in every way the can. With Coppin State University being known as a black school, the school has one of the best sporting facilities in the nation; this has drawn a lot of caucasians and foreign students to the school.
So far there is nothing frustrating.
